The bride's cathedral-length mantilla of silk illusion was attached to a camelot cap of dotted swiss covered with rows of narrow lace match matching her gown. The bride carried a bouquet of white rosebuds, stephanotis and gypsophila. Entwined in her bouquet were pearlescent orange blossoms taken from the tiara and wedding veil of the bride's mother, the late Mrs. Betty Darnell Cockerham. The maid of honor was Cockerham, sister of the bride.

Matron of- honor was Mrs. Carla Lawson.
