ARLENE M. SHIFFERT Age 72, of 1874 Holman Juno, passed away Tuesday, January 3, 1984. She had been a resident of this area since 1950 and was a member of the Maranatha Temple of Lake Park. She was the widow of the late Willard H. Shiffert who died in October, 1980.

Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Wray Bartek of Juno, Mrs. Jean Sener of Mechanicsburg, two sons: Jerome of Winston-Salem, N.C., Kenneth of W.P.B.; a brother, Karl Sassaman of Bethlehem, a sister, Jeanette Morton of N.P.B.; twelve grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. PALLUZZI Mrs. Palluzzi, 93 years old of 146 Atlantic Avenue, Palm Beach, died Tuesday, January 3rd at her home after an extended illness. A winter resident since 1943, Mrs. Palluzzi moved permanently to Palm Beach in 1965 following the death of her husband, Joseph G. Palluzzi.

She was a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church in Palm Beach. She is survived by her three daughters: Miss Madeline C. Palluzzi, Mrs. Cecilia P.

Mrs. Walton was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, St. Elizabeth Guild of Holy Trinity, The Daughters of the American Revolution of West Palm Beach and The Sailfish Club of Palm Beach. She is survived by her two sons: E. Ben Walton, Jr.

EDWARD FRANCIS NASH 79, of 344 Sandal Lane, Palm Beach Shores passed away Monday, January 2nd, 1984 at his home after a long illness. Mr. Nash, a native of Montreal, Canada, the only child of Norman F. Helen Hoyt Nash, was active in the hotel business for 52 years.

During his career he was associated with several hotels in the South Florida area to include the old Whitehall Ambassador in Palm Beach, the Hotel Pennsylvania in West Palm, Hollywood Beach Hotel in Hollywood, Florida and more recently the Palm Beach Towers. In addition he managed many New England resorts to include the Mt. Washington Hotel in New Hampshire, New Ocean House in Mass. and the old Samoset Hotel in Rockland, Maine. A longtime family genealogist, he authored published a comprehensive research book on several family lines which has been placed in numerous libraries around the world.

In conjunction with his research, he was selected for membership in the Irish Genealogical Research Society of London. He was a member of The Founders Patriots of America; Sons of the American Revolution; Society of Colonial Wars; Mayflower Descendants; Order of the Crown of Charlemagne; the Huguenot Society and the St. Andrews Society. He is survived by his wife, Catherine Francis Lodge; two sons: Lt. Colonel Richard F.

Nash, U.S. Army, Robert L. Nash of Boston, Mass. and a granddaughter, Natalie M. Tindol of Gastonia, N.C.

There will be no funeral or memorial service at the deceased's request. A Cenotaph headstone will be placed in the family burial plot in Haverhill, Mass.
