The new franchise will bear strong resemblances to the Fort Lauderdale Sun, which won the USL championship Sept 1. Jeff Sarkin, general manager of the old Sun and head of an investment group that sought the new franchise, said at a news conference that he would retain coach Keith Weller and many of the players.
