Mr. Campbell started his musical career in Minneapolis and St. Paul as a singer, pianist, organist choir director. He owned and operated a studio in Minneapolis with his mother, also a musician, who was organist for the Women's Choral Club in Minneapolis. He later concentrated on working as an organist and choir director the Twin Cities.

in about 1919, he studied in England, returning to the U.S. to carry on his work in Episcopal Churches in Eastern United States. He spent most of his last years in the Church of the Resurrection in New York City. After he retired to Florida, he substituted in Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach for two years and was organist and choir director at St. Paul's Episcopal Church for one year.

Survived by his sister, Mrs. Ruth C. Day, of Lantana; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Funeral mass will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Guardian Angels in Lantana.

McCarthy, age 70, of 4364 Waxwing Court, Boynton Beach died Sunday in a local hospital after a brief illness. He was a resident here since 1979 coming from Greenwich, Conn. A graduate of Iona Academy; at the time of death Chairman of the Shamrock Society of Boca Raton; a former member of KetC, The Quail Ridge Country Club, The Westchester Country Club, The Boca Raton Banker's Club, 'The American Legion and a Veteran of World War IL. Mr. McCarthy spent 40 years in service with United Parcel Service, retiring as Vice President of National Accounts in 1979.

He 'is survived by his beloved wife, Anne Hughes; daughters, Shella Begg of Baltimore, Md. and Maryellen McLane of Carlisle, four grandchildren: Amy, Heather, Michael and Meghan. Brother, Joseph and a sister, Kathleen also survive. The family will receive friends at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, from 3-5pm and 7-9pm Tuesday (today). A scripture service will be held 8pm today at the funeral home with Rev.

Louis Roberts officiating. Funeral mass and burial will be from Sacred Heart Church in Conn. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. EDWARD M. TUFT Age 76, of 300 A1A, Jupiter, died early Saturday at his home.

Mr. Tuft had been a resident here for the past twelve years coming from Summit, New Jersey. He was a retired Executive Vice President at the RCA Corporation where he worked for 43 years. He was a member of the Tequesta Country Club and the Southern Seniors Golf Association. He is survived by his wife, Lillian; two sons, Richard Bolton, Mass.

and Barry Media, three grandsons: Michael, Gregory, Steven, and granddaughter, Lesley; one sister, Emma Kipp, Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, J. Norman Tuft, also of Cleveland. Mr. Tuft was predeceased by his son, Robert in 1975. Veteran of the Viet Nam War and awarded the Bronze Star, he was on the Lake Worth Police Department for 19 years, went to the Lantana Police Department and became a Captain.

He left after years and moved to Kentucky, where he worked with the Logan County Sheriff's Department. Survived by his wife: Louise Eckert, Lewisburg, mother, Dorothy Eckert of Lake Worth; brother, Robert Eckert of Lake Worth; four stepchildren and nine grandchildren. Presently he and his father owned and operated the 45th St. Flea Market. He was Reservations Manager of the Brazilian Court Hotel in Palm Beach until his retirement on January 1, 1984. Born November 9, 1923, he was the son of Thomas S. and Helen Tobey Ramsdell. He attended local public schools and was a graduate of Mercersburg (PA) Academy. During service in the Infantry in Europe in World War II he earned the Bronze Star.

After the war he was on occupational duty in Japan as a Staff Sergeant. Following his discharge he took a summer job at the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, and decided to make the hotel business his career. He was with hotels in Palm Beach in the winter and at Chatham Bars Inn on Cape Cod in the summer before joining the Brazilian Court in the fall of 1969. Mr. Ramsdell left a sister, Mrs.
