Mr and Mrs Herman Gade and Frank Thilges were also guests, —o—' A/3C Larry Johnson, son of Mrs Cliff Johnson sailed April 6 on the USS Hancock for Hawaii, the Philippines and the Far East. He will return to the States in the fall. Larry has been in the Navy since July of 1954. Mr and Mrs William Wegener of Clinton arrived here Tuesday evening. They came to attend funeral services for their brother- in-law, W. J. Sigsbee and are louse guests of Mrs Wegener's brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs Fred Schattschneider. ; Mr and MM Ezra Blanchard had as guests Sunday, Mr and Mrs .Ralph Schipuill and three daughters of Wesley and Clifford Blanchard and Mrs'Lavina Mittii- der of Port Dodge. Sunday gufesfs in the home of Frank Thilges at Fenton were Mr and Mrs John Metz and family of West Bend, Mr and Mrs Harold Steward of Burt, and Mi and' Mrs Clarence Thilges and son of Fenton. Mrs Clifford Johnson enter tained at a dinner on Sunday in honor of her daughter, Beverly who was confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church. Guests were Mr and Mrs Ralph Stoll of Corwith, Mrs Nell Wicky, Luverne md Barbara Bartlett, Phyllis Hardgrove and Virginia Dale of Algona. —o—. Bob Wright, son of Mr and Mrs Brail Wright of Algona, wan named the "Outstanding New aycee of the Year" by the Clear •ake Junior Chamber last week.
