Swea City .— Two hundred persons, including stockholders of the Farm Service Oil company and their wives,, .attended the dinner and business ""meeting of the. company at the Swea City school building Saturday night. Members of the MUsic Mothers club served the meal. The program and business meeting were held in the auditorium, with Richard M. Anderson showing pictures of his trip to South America. I Earl Kvamsdale, Swea City, and D. D. Dreyer, Fenton, were elected to the board of directors replacing Reuben Holcomb'.anc John Nyman, neither of whom desired to be a candidate for reelection. Chairman of the board will be named at the first board meeting in early April. Wm. Weltha is manager, <Mrs Don Martin, bookkeeper, Elmer Swam son and Ferdie Sleeker are tank agents for the company, whose main office is in Swea City. Stockholders. from every town in Kossuth county, as well as from west Bend and Corwith, attended the meeting Saturday. The reports indicate the company made total sales of $279.635.64 last year. , A proposed change in the articles of incorporation, passage of which would have retired the organization stock owned by the, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, was defeated by a vote of 539 'No' to 47 'Yes'.
