The well known Sanlanla of Os-borne Howes of Chestnut Hill, Mass, is at the city dock and will bo ready for the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Howe vlio spend most of their time at Palm Beach aboard her.

Mr. Howes' speedy fishing: boat, the Tomahawk, ocean front. For many reasons this is the home chosen by! hundreds of Palm Beach's winter visitors; it has a charm5 and atmosphere found in few hotels of its size, due in no; small part of the geniality of the manager and his assist-! ants, and due to the fact that so many of the guests return year after year. It has beautiful surroundings, and is Popular Brazilian Court Hotel Well Booked for Season Many Beach hlcmcs Open for Winter as Season Begins October and November were busy months in Palm Beach. Many of the winter residents came to look after their property, to attend to details of construction of new houses, additions and alterations, repairs and redecorating; others came to vote.

Adjacent to the great hall on the east side is a huge patio which is flanked on the nouth by a promenade and on the north by the dining hall. New Palm Beach Hotel Has Many Guests Registered The New Palm Beach hotel opened for the season December 1, and is again under the management of William G. liavill, of Beaton Hall, Slockbriilge, who will be assisted this year by Gary I learn of Saratoga Springs.

and Mrs. George F. Groves of Brad- ford, arrived at the Breakers to occupy their season suite. Mr. and Mrs.

Groves are always among the first to arrive at the hotel, but this I veil1' I'l'eeedeii all the other guests by i few days. Before they left last sea son they- arranged with Mr. Greene, to have this year the name rooms they had occupied last year; they also arranged to move in on December 1. When news of the storm reached them in September, they were a little dubious about being able to carry out the arrangement, but were soon reassured by word from Sir. Greene that he would take care of them on the first of December, as he had agreed.
