EMBESI Brookshire, Texas George BUSH On TJie Issues CIVIL RIGHTS BILL I oppose this bill because it violates the civil and constitu- tioal rights of all the people.

Job opportunity, education and fair play can alleviate inequalities. Sweeping federal legislation will fail. CUBA We must recognize a Cuban government in exile and support its effects to reclaim its country. UNITED NATIONS Has been a failure in preserving the peace. The United States has taken the responsibility for the freedom of the Western World and should not relinquish that responsibility to the General Assembly.

All nations should pay their dues or lose their votes. RED CHINA Must never be admitted to the UN. If this does occur, we should withdraw from the UN. FOREIGN AID Should be limited to technical and military assistance to areas where such aid is necessary to the defense of the free world. We cannot give aid to Communist countries.

NATIONAL ECONOMY The free enterprise system must be unfettered, to provide jobs, opportunity and prosperity. PUBLIC EDUCATION Is the responsibility of the states. Federal aid means federal control. We must meet the challenge of education at the state level. FREEDOM PACKAGE We should create a "Freedom.

Package" for all Americans, freeing them from bigger and bigger government. We should create such a package for the millions of persons enslaved by Communism all over the world. This package would consist of a firm foreign policy, the return the- government of our nation to its people, putting God and prayer back into our schools, providing job opportunities and encouraging individual initiative and responsibility.
