4 Burglary reported by Polk County sheriff's deputies from a car belonging to Dwight Diltz of 4413 61st St. Diltz said he left the City Limits Lounge about 10:30 p.m., lost control of his car and ended up in a ditch about 100 yards from the bar. When he returned to his car, it had been stripped of the hood, stereo, speakers and battery, he said. The items were valued at $1,390. 700 block Southwest Fourth Street, 3.35 p.m.

Evelyne Villines, 56, 3300 49th was nominated for her work in removing structural barriers for handicapped persons and her work with civil rights and educa EVELYNE VILLINES tional issues, according to John Clark founder and president of the Hall of Fame board of trustees. Villines contracted polio when she was 3 years old and must use braces and crutches for walking and stand ing. A nationally recognized spokes woman for disabled persons, she has served as executive secretary of the Governor's Committee on Employment of the Handicapped, community relations director of the Polk County Society for Crippled Children and Adults, and chair of the Iowa Civil Rights Commission. She belongs to the National Indus tries for the Severely Handicapped, Goodwill Industries of America, Commission on Rights and Access, National Rehabilitation Association, National Coalition of Citizens with Disabilities, and the President's Committee on Employment of the Handicapped.

The hall of fame, which was found ed in 1981, is the only national organization that recognizes outstanding disabled persons, according to Clark.
