APPLE WAPFLES An Old Favorite by Clabber Girl! IX cupi lifted.all- purpote flour 4 teatpoont Clabber dirt Baking Powder K teatpoon talt 1 taupoon ground nutmeg servings 3 tai^apooni tugar 2 tableipooni ihorttning 2 egg*, leparated 1 cup milk 1M cupt pared, coarieiy grated apple Sift together flour, Baking Powder, salt, nutmeg, and sugar into a mixing bowl. Cut in shortening until mixture is fine. Beat together egg yollpi and milk ahd add all at once to dry ingredients. Blend ingredients and beat just until smooth. Stir in apples. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry. Fold into batter. Bake in waffle maker following manufacturer's directions.
