John's Catholic Church in Cumming, with burial at Jordan Cemetery in West Des Moines. Mrs. Belmonte was born in Des Moines and had lived in Des Moines all her life. She owned and operated Belmonte's Restaurant and Lounge in Cumming before retiring in 1990. She was a member of Women's American Legion Auxiliary and had worked to legalize women's wrestling in seven states.

She was world champion in women's wrestling from 1954-1960. She is survived by a son, Robert of Cumming; three brothers, Doug Hesseltine and Rich Hesseltine, both of Des Moines, and Randy Hesseltine of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Kate Jungman of Urbandale and Lila Rankin of Cumming; and a grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at St.

RAYMOND PINE Des Moines Raymond V. Pine, 69, of the 3600 block of Brinkwood Road died of a heart attack Sunday at lowa Methodist Medical Center.

Joseph Catholic Church. Mrs. Williamson had lived in Des Moines all her life. She was a retired administrative assistant for the state of lowa. She is survived by a daughter, Jamie Jewell of Urbandale, a son, Scott of Des Moines; her parents, Charles and Marjorie Kunert of Des Moines; two brothers, Fred Kunert of Reno, and Jeff Kunert of Mississippi; a sister, Linda Perry of San Antonio, Texas; and a grandchild.

A vigil service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Hamilton's Funeral Home is handling arrangements. NORMAN "SCOTTY" SCOTT Des Moines Des Moines Norman "Scotty" Scott, 59, of the 800 block of Watrous Avenue died of cancer Saturday at lowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m.

Wednesday at Southtown Funeral Home. Cremation will follow services, with burial of the cremains at a later date. Mr. Scott had lived in Des Moines all of his life. He was a purchasing agent for and Printing before retiring and an Army veteran.

He enjoyed woodworking and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He is survived by his wife, Trudy; and two sons, Russell of Altoona and Randy of Des Moines. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Blank Children's Hospital.

MARGARET LOEHR New Hope, Minn. Margaret "Mickey" Loehr, 80, of New Hope, died of complications of a stroke Sunday at St. Theres Care Center in New Hope. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St.

Theresa's Catholic Church in Des Moines, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Glendale Cemetery. Mrs. Loehr was born in Oxford and had lived in Des Moines most of her life before moving to New Hope about two years ago. She was a teacher for the Des Moines public school system before retiring and a member of Des Moines Retired Teachers Association, Des Moines Catholic Women's League, St.

Theresa's Rosary Society, Catholic Daughters of America and the University of lowa Alumni Association. She is survived by a daughter, Maurie Carpenter of Peoria, a son, John New Hope; a sister, Joan Morrison of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Micheal. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 5 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church or Mercy Medical Center. ELMER STILES Des Moines Elmer Stiles, 85, of the 7400 block of Southwest 17th Street died of complications of Alzheimer's disease Sunday at Altoona Health Care Center in Altoona. The body was cremated and memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lee Town Assembly of God Church. The cremains will be scattered at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Stiles was born in Novinger, and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a steel worker. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Steel Workers Union of Des Moines. He enjoyed model cars and fishing.

He is survived by two sons, Garry Foster and Jerry Foster, both of Moines; a brother, Fred Stiles of Des Moines; 22 grandchildren; and 33 greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Inez. Hamilton's Funeral Home is handling arrangements. GLORIA KUHNS Adel Gloria S. Kuhns, 77, of Adel died of cancer Sunday at Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home in Adel, with burial at Oakdale Cemetery there. Mrs. Kuhns was born in Bagley and had lived in Des Moines for many years before moving to Adel 30 years ago. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening.

She is survived by a son, Jim De Camp; and a daughter, Penny Myers, both of Des Moines; 11 grandchildren; and 18 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Kavanagh House on Grand in West Des Moines.

EARL TRIBBY Ellsworth Earl L. Tribby, 69, of Ellsworth died of cancer Saturday at Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth, of which he was a member. Burial will be at Homewood Cemetery.

Mr. Tribby was born in Story County and had lived in Ellsworth most of his life. He was a mechanic for Jewell Implement before retiring. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; a daughter, Kathy Mason of Ellsworth; five sisters, Carolyn Workman of Ankeny, Judy Cooper of Huxley, Dorothy Palmateer of Ames, and Betty Vieman and Bonnie Haines, both of Mission, Texas; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Sunset Hills Memorial Park Cemetery in Portland, Ore. Mrs. Massengill was born in Worcester, and had lived in Portland most of her life before moving to Knoxville two years ago. She had recently moved to West Des Moines.

She was a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters, Linda Marvin of West Des Moines and Carol Robertson of Spokane, five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Hamilton's Funeral Home is handling arrangements. EDNA SEARS Newton Edna B. Sears, 85, of Newton died of a heart ailment Friday at C.L.C.

Care Center in Polk City. Services will be at 11. a.m. Thursday at Community Heights Alliance Church in Newton, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery there.

Mrs. Sears was born in Sully and had lived in Sully and Newton most of her life before moving to Polk City a few weeks ago. She was a homemaker and had owned and operated a beauty salon in Newton. She loved fishing and birdwatching. She is survived by two sons, Ray of Johnston and Robert of Clinton, a sister, Rosetta Lamphier of Mountain Home, a brother, Charles Renaud of Tempe, nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to service time. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central lowa or the Gideons International.

Bandfield, 66, of the 4200 block of Northwest Fourth Street died of a heart ailment Saturday at lowa Methodist Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Bandfield was born in Cedar Rapids and had lived in Sioux City and Texas, before moving to Des Moines 12 years ago. He was a retired truck driver for Sweetheart Tomato Company and a member of the Teamsters union. He enjoyed feeding birds. He is survived by his wife, Barbara; his mother, Velma Tanner of Marshalltown; and a sister, Wilma Jean Tronjo of Twin Lakes, Minn.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. OPAL MADDICK Perry Opal Maddick, 91, of Perry died of a heart ailment Sunday at Dallas County Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Murdock Funeral Home in Perry.

Burial will be at Brethren Cemetery in Panora. Mrs. Maddick was born in Panora and had lived there most of her life, before moving to Perry in 1994. She was a teacher before retiring. She had played the piano for silent movies in Panora.

She is survived by three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Rowley Memorial Masonic Home.

ROBERT LOUNSBERRY McCallsburg Robert Lounsberry, 82, of McCalisburg died of a heart ailment Saturday at Story County Medical Center in Nevada.

Lounsberry was born in Carlisle and he lived most of his life on a farm near McCallsburg. He was an Air Force veteran of World War Il and received the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was lowa's secretary of agriculture from 1972 to 1986. He played a role in helping to eradicate hog cholera in the United States and served as president of the National Association of State Departments of Agriculture. He had served on the lowa Arboretum Board and the lowa State Fair Board for many years and he was active in the American Legion, serving as state commander in 1953-54.

He is survived by his wife, Muriel; three sons, William of McCallsburg, Paul of Columbia, S.C., and Steven of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Beth Rumph of Plano, Texas, and Janet King of Cedar Rapids; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
