Mrs Frank Flaig, Elsie WUlrett of Algona and Mr and Mrs James Long visited Wednesday evening with Mrs Rose Kraft. Mr and Mrs N. E. Heiter, Lola Heiter and W. C. Heiter were dinner guests Christmas Day at the Clair Bollinger home. Mr and Mrs Gordon Blanchard and family of Mason City spent Friday with his mother, Mrs Maude Blanchard. Mr and Mrs Ray Snyder and Dick of Qoldfield were Christmas day dinner guests of Mr and Mrs Don Hduck. Dick Jensen and Don Jensen, sons of Mr and Mrs E. M. Jensen, spent the Christmas holidays here. Mr and Mrs Marlyn Bailsman of WUton Junction visited Sunday at the Geo. B. Long home. Mrs Ruth Krueger and Mrs Geo. Thompson and Merwin of Des v Moines also visited there Sunday. Christmas Day dinner guests there were Mr and Mrs Hiram Ackerman and family of Burt, Marlys Jentz of Fenton and Mrs Ruth Krueger. Mr and Mrs Roy Merchant, Garry and Linda visited in Sioux City last Sunday. Christmas eve they spent at Fremont, Neb. with his parents, Mr and Mrs Lester Merchant. Mrs Harold Luedtke and daughter Linda of Sargent,, Minn, called on Mrs Ruth Krueger, Thursday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Art Person entertained the following for Christmas Day dinner, Mr and Mrs Milo Bonebreak and family of Winnebago, Minn., Mr and Mrs Ed Hoppe and Roger of Fairmont, Mr and Mrs Reinhold Person and family of Swea City, Art and Burt Phillips. Mr and Mrs Charles Morris spent from Monday till Wednesday over Christmas at the Jack Johnson home at Gowrie. Mrs James Cody Sr. was hostess to the Idle Hour Club recently at their Christmas party. A card party is planned for January 27th at the Art Person home. Mrs Kenneth Richards assisted with the pot luck luncheon. Mrs Robert Lynch was hostess to the Christmas party of the Modernette Club last week. Mr and Mrs Blaine Saxton are the parents of a new son born Thursday morning, Dec. 27th, at Holy Family Hospital at Estherville. The little lad has been named Jeffery Allen. Mr and Mrs LeRoy Reinholdt and family of Schaller visited at the A. J. Elsbeckers Christmas evening. Mr and Mrs Roger Jensen entertained at Saturday evening dinner Mr and Mrs Orville Deardorf and family of Yale, Mr and Mrs Roy Jensen and Jamie Jo. Mr and Mrs Frank Dreyer and family visited • Wednesday evening In Lakota at the Art Tietz home. Joann, Jane and David remained there for a visit. Mr and Mrs Edwin Wichtendahl and faniily visited Christmas with her father Wm. Bell at West Bend. In the evening they visited at the Otto Wichtendahl home in Fenton. Christmas Day dinner guests at the Sam McCleish home were Albert Hutchinson, and Leonard, Mr and Mrs Sam McCleish and Donald of Bancroft, Mr and Mrs Clarence Weiss of Armstrong.
