'Auner Engaged Miss Margaret Helen Auner, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sturgis Auner, 3310 John Lynde road, announce the engagement garet Helen, and John Welsey and Mrs. Edgar Allen Parsons Miss Auner was- graduated from St. Mary' hall at Faribault, the State University of Iowa, and received her master of fine arts degree from Drake She is a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, Delta Phi Delta, honorary art fraternity, and the Des Moines Junior League.

She is an art teacher in the 1 Des Moines public schools. Mr. Parsons was graduated from Hirsch High school in Chicago and attended the University of their daughter, MarAllen Parsons, son of Dr. of Chicago. of Chicago, the State University of Iowa and Simpson college.

He is a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He is serving in the army and will be stationed in Germany. Formal announcement of the engagement was made at a cocktail supper Friday evening given by Mr. and Mrs. Auner at the Des Moines club.

Gene Greear was maid of honor, and Susan Porter was bridesmaid for her sister. Robert Rogers served his brother AS best man, and George B. Porter, brother of the bride, was among the ushers.
