The bride wore.a white floor- length gown of Chantilly lace and nylon tulle with a sabrina neck- 'linc, sequin trim, and over skirt of Chantilly ^ace edg«i in scalloped lace over a • wide ruffle of nylon net. Her headdress 'was cloud 'veil 'of imported silk bridal illusion, kl- tached to a pearl and crystal tiar- ra. She wore a pearl necklace and matching earrings, a gift from the .bridegroom, and carried a bouquet of red roses. ; | Matron of honor was her sister, Mrs. Ross Inman of Bancroft. The bridegroom was attended by Ross Inman. Ushers were John Reding and Wayne Parker. ' A dinner and reception were held in the KG Hall at Algona 'for 7& guests. ; ' ' ' ! The bride is a graduate of Presentation Academy and attended Briar Cliff College in Sioux City, 'taught school in Laurens, Stuart and Iowa Falls and recently was (employed at the Quaker Oat Company in Fort Dodge. Mr. and Mrs. Laurel Peterson have moved to the house on the Bexell farm and Laurel will farm, with his father, the land which was formerly rented by the Ernest Pattersons. The Pattersons moved to Swea City. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Decker and family came from Burt to the place vacated by the Laurel Petersons. The Joe Bauers had a sale of machinery and livestock and moved to Lincoln, Neb. where he will be in construction work. The place will be farmed by Robert Hamilton, Bancroft. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Jorgcnscn arc moving to the home they purchased from Mrs. Mae Lester and Robert Jorgensen and his family will move into the Jorgenson home.' Mr. and Mrs. Lester Swalve and family have moved to Mason City, where he will be employed on a farm. He was in the blacksmith business in Swea City. Among others who moved earlier have been the Harold Deckers, the Irvin Bathes, who moved to Cal* ifornia, the Vern Mortensons, who came from Brownton, Minn, and live at the Mortensen farm north of Swea City, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Isaacson and family moved to Marshall, Minn, and the Norman Ottmans have moved to Estherville. Following; the tobogganing, they returned to the church for refreshments., Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jacobson and family of Mallard visited Sunday at the Howard Preston home. The VFW Auxiliary met Friday evening. It was announced that the next meeting would include election of officers. Mrs. Harold Fischer, Mrs. Amery Charlson and Mrs. Everett Johnson were appointed to the nominating committee. It was voted to contribute to the park fund in memory of the late Mayor, Mr. Earl Hansen. Mrs. Kenneth Brones and Mrs, Warren Thompson were on the entertainment committee and lunch was served by Mrs. R. Thomas Barnes, Mrs. William Mather, Jr., and Mrs. Andrew Brones. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Schauberger attended the golden wedding anniversary at Fairmont for Mr. and Mrs. William Schauberger. Karen Gorasczkowski, student at Iowa State University at Ames, came home Sunday to spend a week during quarter break. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Guerdet entertained their card club Sunday evening. The six couples present Mrs. Jim Kennedy is a patient at Holy Family hospital. She suffers complications of the flu.
