The Armstrong girls 'provided the biggest surprise with a stunning 45-39 victory over Burt. Burt boys won the finale 49-47. In the opener the Tigerettes snapped a six game Burt win string that included the conference tournament championship. Balanced scoring and a stiff defense provided the key to the win. Judy Theesfield led the winners with 14 with Paula Garde adding 13 and Cherie Schwartz 11. Pat Long led Burt with 20 and Judy Abbas added 15.
