I was very impressed with the Christopher Reeve-directed HBO drama "In the Gloaming." Will it be repeated anytime soon? Without a doubt, though we don't have an exact date to provide you at this point. However, the film starring Glenn Close as the mother of an AIDS-afflicted young man (Robert Sean Leonard) will be in video stores on the HBO Home Video label in early September. I've read that Teri Hatcher is supposed to be the new "James Bond girl." Is that true? Indeed it is. TV's most recent Lois Lane will be Pierce Brosnan's leading lady in "Tomorrow Never Dies," slated to be released program. Since then, she's stayed busy with a variety oi activities, contnoutinq en tertainment reports to the weekend editions of NBC's Today" and serving as host of a behind-the-scenes show on cable's FXM.

Last March, Cornett was a co-host of a syndicated "Live From the Academy Awards" special on Oscar night, and she is a fill-in host on the Los Angeles morning program "Good Day L.A." on KTTV-TV. Ad ditionally, she has appeared on such series as "Melrose Place" and "Saved by the Bell." Continuing her stage work, she's appearing this summer with her spouse in a Jacksonville, Fla. staging of "Barefoot in the Park." On the adventures that "Ordinary Extraordinary" provides her: "I like to try a lot of things, and I've only just gotten into this daredevil side of my life. This show is a great vehicle for that, because it's given me opportunities to do some really neat things.
