B. .Murtagh, President of tru Koss.u'th '•, County Tuberculosis anc Health Association, said today. "In Kossuth County, follow- up X-rays disclosed finding suspicious of probable active, inactive, healed tuberculosis or of activity undetermined ceses. In addition, 23 persons were founa to have other chest abnormalities indicating possible tumors, heart conditions, cancer, etc., which may require further medical attention* 877 persons have been notified that their x-rays were essentially within normal limits", C.J3. Those present were John Rode, Cheirman, Charles Newel, Charles Plathe, A. F. Kollasch and Jens Sorensen. Absent: None. Motion by A. M. Kollasch and seconded by Charles Newel that taxes be sus. pended on the Emma Severson property described as Lots 1-2 Blk. 22 Richmonds 4th Addition to the Town of Swea City. Ayes. All. Nays: None. Motion carried, Motion by Charles Plathe and seconded by Jens Sorensen that Class "8" Beer permit be granted Reinald Peter Salz, (Reinies' Grocery) Bode, Iowa. Ayes: All. Nays/ None. Motion carried. Motion by A. M. Kollasch and seconded by Jens Sorensen that the 2nd quarterly report of 1961 for Fred E. Dutton, Ledyard J. P., be approved. Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. The motioning of the suspending of Taxes on Lot 1 Blk. 5, Irvington, was tabled. Motion by Jens Sorensen and seconded by Charles Plathe that Mildred Butlke arid Varna Aldrich be appointed clerks in the treasurer's office effective Nov. 1, 1961, Ayes: All. Nays: None. Motion carried. The Board of Supervisors filed a written protest by certified Mail, October 26, 1961, in regard to the increase in Kossuth Co. Valuations.
