LAKE TRIBUNE, Monday, June 13, 1949 9 THE SALT Weber Woman, 89, Succumbs in Ogden Home Tribune Leased Wire OGDEN, June 12-Mrs. Emma Dye Bowman, 89, 2539 Adams who crossed the western plains as a child with her ing parents, died Saturday ning at the family residence after short illness. A resident of Weber county most of her life, she came to Utah In 1863 with her family, converts to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. For five years she had resided at Wyutah on the Wyoming line, her only period away from this locality. Born In Massachusetts She was born Dec.

2, 1859, in Charlestown, daughter of Jonathan and Charlotte Johnson Dye. The family residence was in Uintah, Weber county, for many years. On Jan. 7, 1878, she was married to William Andrew Bowman in South Weber, where the couple resided afterward. Mr.

Bowman died May 12, 1901, in Blackfoot, where he was employed at the time. For the past 35 years, his widow lived in Ogden. Funeral Rites Wednesday Survivors include two sons and four daughters: John and George P. Bowman Mrs. Agnes -Bybee, Ogden; Mrs.

He is survived by two sons, Lenar and Lloyd; two daughters, Mrs. Arline Jeanselme and Mrs. Maurine Dorman, and five grandchildren, all of Price; two brothers, Gomer and Leland Peacock, and three sisters, Mrs. Belle Johnson and Miss Berneice Peacock, of Price, and Mrs. Nettie P.
