James E. Anhalt, age 70, of Plymouth, passed away Tuesday evening (June 17) at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born in Plymouth on July 30, 1943, a son of the late Roland and Laurine (Eberle) Anhalt. He graduated from St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School in 1957 and later from Plymouth High School in 1961. During his high school days, he worked at Weber TV in Plymouth. Jim served in the United States Navy (Seebees) right out of high school from 1961-1963 serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

On August 13, 1966, he married JoAnn Gruber at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in St. John (Calumet The couple has resided in Plymouth since their marriage. Jim held many positions at DFA in Plymouth working 42 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of St.

John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and in his younger years served as head of the Building and Grounds Committee, served on the committee to design the new church, ushered for over 30 years and was a member and OZicer of the Home and School while his girls were in grade school at St. John the Baptist School. Jim attended all the girls swim meets, softball games and basketball games. He also was active in his early years in the Knights of Columbus grilling brats at the annual KC Brat fry and worked with the at Road America in the church stand for many years. Jim was an active member of the Plymouth Snow Rangers since 1970; cutting lawn along the rec trail between Hwy 57 and Greenbush, always worked at the snowmobile races as a scorer, served as beverage chairperson and was chairman of the Adopt-a- Highway for 10 years.

He was a former member and oZicer of the Hermitage Conservation Club and belonged to Walleye for Tomorrow and Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post 5612. Jim was a former EMT with the Plymouth Ambulance working with them until a heart attack at age 46. Recently, he enjoyed watching the grandkids play soccer, baseball, lacrosse, hockey, and dance. He loved to deer hunt, on Lake Winnebago and Lake Erie. He also loved collecting hats, growing tomatoes, camping, snowmobiling, pork sandwiches at bing cherries, red grapes, and Hershey Kisses.

After his second heart attack, he received a new heart in January of 2010. We are forever grateful to the donor family for their generous gift. Jim is survived by his loving wife of 47 years: JoAnn of Plymouth; two daughters: Jodi (Mike) Russell of Menomonee Falls, WI and Jacalyn (Bob) Jelinek of Lodi, WI; four grandchildren: Michael and Nathan Russell and Isabelle and Riley Jelinek; one brother: Bob (Diane) Anhalt of Plymouth; sister and brother-in-laws: Elaine (Virg) Navis of She- bygan, Connie Anhalt of Plymouth, Marjorie (Bob) Fritsch of Greenleaf, Charlotte (Ron) Baker of Kirkland, WA, Ruby Thomas of and Mark (Sally) Gruber of Hilbert. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by: his parents; two brothers: Tom and Glenn and infant sister: Rosemary; one brother-in-law: Rollie Thomas and his buddy, Frank.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday evening (June 23) at 6:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of the church will oZiciate and bur ial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held at the CHURCH on Monday from 3:30 P.M until the time of services.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post 5612 will conduct military rites at the Church following the Mass. In lieu of cowers, a memorial fund is being established in name. (1943-2014) Bernice Heilberger (McCoy), 82, died unexpectedly in Tucson, on une 9, 2014. She is sur- ived by her husband, Al Heilberger and her sister, Colleen Justinger (McCoy). Hei lb erger, Bernice Brent A. Schultz, 16, of St. Michaels, passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, with his best friend, Travis Trapp, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was born on June 16, 1998, in Plymouth, the son of Rod Schultz and Lynn Thull (Schmidt). Brent attended St. Lucas Lutheran School in Kewaskum and Waucousta Lutheran School. He just completed his sophomore year at Kewaskum High School. Brent served as an oQi- cer of the Kewaskum FFA and was a member of the New Fane Kettle Riders Snowmobile Club, Sundown Coon Hunters and Trinity Lutheran Church in Dundee.

He was an avid hunter and Vsherman and will fondly be remembered for his big heart, his dimpled smile and the love he had for his truck and country music. Those Brent leaves behind to cherish his memory include his parents, Lynn (Kevin) Thull of St. Michaels and Rod Schultz of Plymouth; his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Lois Schmidt of Beechwood; his paternal grandparents, Ken and Brenda Schultz of Cascade and paternal grandmother, Nancy Schultz of Plymouth; a special grandma, Karen (Glen) Stewart of Lomira; his great-grandfather, Alfred DeMarce of Cascade; his uncles, Jim (Dina, godmother) Schmidt of Beechwood and Ross (Rita) Schultz of Cascade; his aunts, Tammy Schultz of Cascade and Rhonda Schultz of Jackson; a special cousin, Austen Schmidt; his godfather, Tim (Sheryl) Fenske of Cascade; his step-grandmother, Marylin Thull of West Bend; two step-uncles, Craig (Lois) Thull of Campbellsport and Gary (Doreen) Thull of Howard, Pennsylvania; six step- aunts, Sue (Ralph) Dep- piesse of Random Lake, Gale Thull (Don Guzan) of Spring Grove, Illinois, Janine Thull (JeQ Richter) of Menomonie, Geralyn Fromm of Port Washington, Vicky Thull of North Carolina and Adrianne (Ron) Theusch of Alden, Minnesota, other relatives and many friends. Environmental Protection Agency. The funds will be used to hire a consultant to perform environmental site assessments at up to 16 brownfield sites in five of the communities, according to a press release Aaron Brault, county director of planning and conservation. Brownfields are defined by the EPA as property for which reuse or development could be complicated by the presence of pollutants.
