Upp»f Dei Molni* Thursday, November 43, I Ml NFO Hold Convention InDesNloines The Veterans Memorial Auditorium in DCS Moihes has been selected as the site for the annual convention of the National Farmers Organization (NFO) Thursday and Friday, December 7 and 8. Leonard McGuire, Kossiith County NFO chairman, said Tuesday this will be the largest convention in NFO history. NFO members throughout JJFO territory, during their November county meetings, are developing resolutions and reSMiWHffldations to be discussed at the Convention NFO forms policies at the roots level. Voting delegates from each county the members at the Convention. An outstanding speaking program is being arranged for the convention, according to Oren Lee Staley, NFO president. Wesleyon Hurt Wesley — Joe Miller suffered several torn ribs Tuesday while at.;work in a field. A bolt that held up the seat on the tractor came out' allowing Joe to fall from the tractor and a wheel of the plow passed ; over him pausing the injury. He was taken to the, Britt hospital and was released Monday. Edw. Mr Pergande died Tuesday a Lutheran hospital in Fort Do"dge He was a verteran of World War I and had farmed in the Lu Verne area for a number of years He married Anna Voss on Jan. 17, 1923, at LuVerne. She sur- vises as do two daughters. Mrs Raymond Pettigrew of Mason City and Mrs Gordon Lund of Vincent; eight grandchildren; one sister and four brothers, Mrs Bertha Schipull, and Augusta, Henry, Fred and Carl Pergande, all of LuVerne.
