The baby weighed 5 pounds and 10 ounces at birth and has been named Rufus Benjamin. The couple has five other children. They are Linda, Julie, Willium, Kelly and In a Rao.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, W. L. Scarbrough, was lovely in a street length dress of orchid polished cotton broadcloth fashioned with fitted bodice, scalloped neckline, short sleeves, princess style waist, and gathered skirt. A lulle veil was attached to a bandeau covered with a bow from the dress material.

She wore pearilzed white pumps and carried a bouquet centered with a while orchid surrounded by white rrn-nations and lilies of the valley Miss Sarah Beth Scarbrough attended her sister as maid of Mrs. honor and she wore a street length dress of orchid polished col ion with a low round neck, set in cummerbund and tiny pleated skirt. She carried a white carnation nosegay with orchid net and white streamers. Bob Heaberlin, of served as best man to his brother. The bride's mother chose nn embroidered pink linen sheath and wore a corsage of pink roses.

Mrs. Heaberlin wore a navy blue eyelet sheath and pink corsage. Ushers were Grady Butler of Wichita Falls and Bill Hef- lin of Mesquite. 1 A reception was held following the wedding in the fcl- jlowship hall of the church wedding cake was topped by a miniature bride and groom figurine. Sprays of white gladioli were placed on each side of the table.

Members of the house party were Miss Linda Haw ley of Albany who registered the guests and Miss Barbara Brown, presided at the punch bowl and Miss Jeannettc Johnson served the cake. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Lee Scarbrough of Haskell, former residents of Mexia, and the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs.

O. A. Heaberlin of Orange. The bride is also the granddaughter of Mrs. D.

E. Sawyer of Shiloh and the niece of Mrs. L. L. Spencer and Mrs.

J. E. Speer of Mexia, Mrs. Scartarough attends North Texas State College where she will graduate in January and the bridegroom graduated from North Texas State in August of 1959 and has been teaching in junior high school at Dickinson. They will reside at 1229 West Oak Street in Dcnton.

Odessa Couple Are Parents Of Second Son Mr. and Mrs. J. Fort Smith, of Odessa, the birth of their second son born Monday, July 18. 1960, in an Odessa hospital.
