PIGNERI Des Moines Pr -1 Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at MARY HUBBARD Webster City Mary Hubbard, 51, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at the Israel Family Hospice House at Ames. Funeral senices were held 10:30 a.m.

Wednesday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Visitation was Tuesday at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Mary Beth Hart, daughter of Vernon and Eleanor Harrington Hart, was born January 22, 1954 at Fort Dodge. She received her education at Corpus Christi and graduated from St.

Edmonds, both of Fort Dodge, in 1972. In January of 1973, she married Tom Redinius at Fort Dodge and the couple resided in Webster City. To this union a daughter was born. They later divorced. On November 21, 1980, she married Jerry Lee Hubbard at Boone.

The couple resided Webster City. Mary was office manager for Kueen's Trailer Ranch and Webster City Recreational Vehicle Center for 25 years. She retired because of failing health. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Moose Family Center. Mrs.

Hubbard is survived by her husband, Jerry; daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Jeff Wood of Ankeny; granddaughter, Miranda Wood; stepchildren, Jeremy Hubbard of Coon Rapids, MN, and Janelle Herman of Missouri Valley; stepgrandchildren, Brady Hubbard and Payton, Morgan and Hailey Herman; mother, Eleanor Hart of Webster City; brothers, Mitchell Hart of Atlanta, GA, and Timothy Hart of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father. Vernon and brother, Patrick Hart. LANNY RAY LEEPER Lacona Lanny Leeper, 58, died Sunday, February 27, 2005 at Mercy Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m.

Bradley, 85, died Monday, February 28, 2005 at Wesley Acres following a long illness. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 4 at Plymouth Congregational Church, with burial at Glendale Cemetery in Des Moines.

Sidney was born November 1 0, 1 91 9 in Lincoln, NE. He served with the Army Air Corps during WWII and was a graduate of the University of Nebraska School of Journalism. Sidney was a police reporter and TV reporter for the Lincoln Journal Star, Director of Des Moines Industrial Bureau, Partner of Knapp and Bradley Commercial Real Estate and Vice President of Iowa Realty Commercial Brokers. He was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church; member and officer of Society of Commercial and Office Realtors; member of First Model Cities Board; President of United Way of Central Iowa; Officer of the Better Business Bureau; member of Wakonda Club; and lifetime member of the University of Nebraska. Mr.

Bradley is survived by his wife, Barbara True Bradley; two daughters, Ann (Terry) Harrmann and Kay (Joel) Novak, all of Des Moines; one son, Sidney (Bonnie) Bradley of Iowa City; one brother, Dale Bradley of Oceanside, CA; four grandchildren, Nicole Thompson, Rebecca Denton, Joshua Novak and Benjamin Bradley; and one great-grandson, Cyd. RUTH LOUISE CONKLING DRAKE Des Moines Services for Ruth L. Conkling Drake, 89, are 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2005 at Dunn's Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Ruth was born in Chester, MT, on January 11, 1916. She graduated from Roosevelt High School and the Iowa Methodist School of Nursing.

She married Robert (Bob) Drake in 1936. She was a nurse at Iowa Methodist Hospital for over 30 years. Ruth was a past Worthy Matron of Acanthus Waveland Park Eastern Star, a member of Daughters' of the Nile, Pilot Club International, First Christian Church, T.T.T. Chapter EC and an active supporter of North High School fund raising activities. She loved raising money for the Association of Retarded Children of Iowa through garage and rummage sales.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Larry (Karen) of Crossville, TN, and Tom (Sheryle) of Des Moines; a sister, Mrs. Jack Swander of West Des Moines; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert (Bob) and her parents, R.L. and Ella Conkling. Memorials may be made to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Iowa.

She is survived by her two sons, Rod Thomas of Prairie City and Greg Thomas (Marsha Matulka) of Yutan, NE; one grandson, Jacob William Thomas; and one brother, Harry (Karen) Gregg. Funeral is today at 2 p.m. at Ascension Lutheran Church in Coon Rapids. Burial will follow at Union Township Cemetery. Mil J.T. (Monk) Clark, 73, died March 1, 2005 at Mercy Hospital after a long battle with cancer.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Grandview Park Funeral Home, followed by graveside services at 2:30 p.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Monk was born February 3, 1932 in Booneville, Missouri, and moved to Iowa in 1950. He worked as a contractor around the Des Moines area and in several foreign countries.

Monk is survived by his wife, Praneed Clark; brother, Donald Clark; sister, Jua-nita (William) Sawdey; and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 4 at Funeral Home, with burial at I Glendale Cemetery. Alice was born August 5, 1910 in Monroe County, Iowa and lived most of her life in Des Moines.

She was an operator for Northwestern Bell, retiring in 1968 after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Pioneers Club and loved to play scrabble. Alice is survived by her sons, Gene Albers of Pleasant Hill, Larry Albers of Pleasant Hill and Robert Albers of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughter, Mary Jo Albers of Pleasant Hill; sister, Ernestine Jewell of Des Moines; three grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; stepson, Dennis Lil-lard of Des Moines; and stepdaughter, Deanna Lillard of California. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Daniel Lillard and Robert B.

BARNES Mason City Ardeth A. Barnes, 81, of 342 Meadow Lane, died Monday, February 28, 2005 at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 213 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, with Rev.

Donald L. Simmonds officiating. Private family interment services will be in the Alden Township Cemetery in Alden, IA. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be given to Wartburg College in Waverly, IA.

Ardeth was born March 25, 1923 in Hardin County, IA, the daughter of Johan and Dena (Briese) Lettow. Ardath was baptized and confirmed at St. Paui Evangelical Lutheran Church in Buckeye, IA. She graduated from Alden High School, attended Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls, and also attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines. Ardeth married Joseph M.

Barnes February 19, 1943 in Clayton, MO. In 1945, while living in Windsor Heights, IA, Ardeth helped establish Windsor Heights Lutheran Church. Because of her efforts, she was awarded a Life Member of the W.M.F. of the American Lutheran Church. The Barnes moved to Mason City in 1962.

Ardeth was active in many civic organizations. She was past president of the YWCA, former Girl Scout Leader, served as co-president of the Parents Committee at Wartburg College and a volunteer at the MacNider Art Museum. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, PEO Chapter DZ, Occident Study Club and the Mason City Country Club. Ardeth enjoyed traveling, cooking, decorating her home and was an avid golfer. She is survived by her husband, Joseph M.

Barnes of Mason City; two daughters, Ranae A. Stinson of Mason City and Melinda Barnes Hoke and husband Jared P. Hoke of Marine on St. Croix, MN; grandchildren, Alexander M. Hoke, Evan J.

Hoke and Charlotte A. Nielsen; and great-grandson, Bradley T. Nielsen. Ardeth was preceded in death by her parents. HAROLD T.

Juliet was a homemaker and loved to travel with her husband, especially to Las Vegas. Born in Elkhart, IA, she lived several years in St. Louis, MO, and Volmeyer, IL. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. She was an auxiliary member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and Disabled American Veterans, and was a volunteer to the Jefferson Barracks Hospital and Nursing Home in St. Louis, MO.

Gladys will be missed by her sister, Maxine Evans of Ankeny; her stepson, Herald Klein; and three step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herold Klein. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Grandview Park Funeral Home. Private burial will he at a later date. Karen was born the daughter of Charles and Maxine (Pettis) Lamb on August 2, 1942 in Osceola, Iowa. She lived in Cre-ston and Afton before moving to Des Moines in 1985.

Karen was a homemaker and loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going to Prairie Meadows, doll collecting, crafts and harassing her husband and son-in-laws. Karen was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Robert; three daughters, Roberta (David) Trenary, Brenda (Robert) Martin and Renee (John) McDaniel, all of Des Moines; five grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, Adam, Hannah and Parker; one sister, Linda (Wilbur) Shaw of Des Moines; two brothers, Larry (Jan) Lamb of Decatur, IA, and Gary Lamb of Des Moines; and many nieces and nephews. She enjoyed tap dancing and was also a talented musician, playing the organ, piano, accordion, clarinet and vibra harp. Leotta is survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary married Kenneth Edward Adams on May 8, 1943 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oelwein. She worked in the furniture department at Montgomery Wards in Oelwein for 22 years, retiring in 1981. Mary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters of Americas Court St. Rita 321. She was also a member of the V.F.W.

Auxiliary. Mary's family includes a daughter and son-in-law, Frances K. and Joseph Miloni of San Angelo, TX; sons and daughters-in-law, William L. Adams of Ankeny, Michael E. and Cindy Adams of Oelwein and Kenneth P.

and Lisa Adams of Oelwein; eight grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rose Aiello of Omaha, NE, Helen Aiello of Des Moines and Gwen Adams of Vinton; and many nieces and nephews. GERALD C. (GERRY) YOUNG, JR. Des Moines Gerry Young, 78, passed away February 28, 2005 at Rowley Memorial Masonic Home in Perry, IA. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 3 at Staves United Methodist Church, 2747 East Madi son in Des Moines.

Private committal services at Highland Memorial Gardens will take place at a later date. Gerry was born February 12, 1927, to Gerald C. Young, Sr. and Elva (Schuling) Young in Des Moines. He graduated in 1945 from Des Moines Technical High School in the printing program.

Following graduation, Gerry enlisted in the Army Air Corps where he also used his printing training. After returning from the service, Gerry married Eleanor (Jane) Luett on June 17, 1951. He worked at Jacobson Linotype, Equitable of Iowa and Meredith Publishing Company. He subsequently established Grandview Graphics in 1976 and continued in the printing business until retiring in 1997. Gerry volunteered after his retirement at Living History Farms in the print shop and at Iowa Lutheran Guild Not New Too shop.

He was a member of Staves United Methodist Church and Past Master of East Gate Masonic Lodge. Before his illness he was a member of Sertoma and High Twelve Clubs. Gerry loved his family, his dog, pipe organ and southern gospel music, and traveling with Smokey Smith Tours. He is survived by his wife, Jane; son Curt; daughter, Susan (Rich) Frye; three grandchildren, Whitney Young, Colin Frye and Eric Frye; and one stepgranddaughter, Kelly Frye; and nephews, Ken, Jim, Dave and Larry Burns and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Maxine Burns; his brother-in-law, Maurice Burns; and his dog, Molly.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5, 2005 at the Berean Baptist Church in Pella. Local services are being arranged by Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella. Tim was a member of the Van Buren First Baptist Church in Alma, a former resident of the Pella area, and a former employee of Pella Corporation. He had lived in Alma for the past three years.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathie Ellis of Des Moines and Judy Ellis of Kamuela, Hawaii; son, Bob (Becky) Ellis of Penokee, Kansas; and four grandchildren, Lilah, Josh, Ashley and Tadd.
