'Tween Weather Ahead for State BY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS Indiana appeared caught between seasons with its weather forecast for the next few daysnot cold enough for real Winter but still not warm enough for Spring. Partly overcast skies and temperatures the 40-degree mark were predicted for Monday, with more of the same in store for Tuesday. There is a chance of scattered snow flurries both days in the northern part of the state, but no sizable precipitation was expected. A lack of clear, sunny days in the forecast promised little relief for residents of southern Indiana mired down on impassable back roads. Many rural schools at the bottom end of the state are expected to remain closed at least part of the coming week because busses cannot get through.

Sunday's weather, overcast and damp, suited the gray mood of Hoosier basketball fans whose teams were knocked off in the, sectionals. Civilian divers earlier reported they were unable to stand erect on the river floor in the 10-mile current, and could grope only a few feet in the brown opaqueness of the water.
