Page 14 Meeting Is Held BUSHONG An all-day meeting of the Chalk Mound Ladies Aid Society was held 1 Nov. 20th with Miss May Button 1 as the hostess. The day was spent in appliqueing quilt blocks for the hostess. A cooperative dinner was served at noon. In the afternoon, a short business meeting was held with the president, Mrs.

Loren Ashburn, in charge. There were 14 members and two children in attendance. The next meeting wilt be a Christmas party on Dec. 18th, with Mrs. Leslie Kraus as the hostess.

Mr. Brickell and Mrs. Bert Brickell will join a Brickell Thanksgiving reunion at the W. F. Brickell home in Emporia.

Mr. and Mrs. Stanley North are invited to eat dinner Thursday with their son and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. William Topeka.

The Stanley North's daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Cooper, will drive his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Cooper, to Albuquerque, N.M., to spend Thanksgiving with another son, Mr.
