SHIMEALL SON The Popular Clothiers Narka, a Thriving Town. (continued from first page, troubles. DeWitt's Little Early lisers cure by J. W. SHOEMAKER.

Southwest of the city of Narka we find what is designated as the Albion Stsck Farm. This farm is owned and operated by Mr. Shoemaker. He has a very large herd of registered Duroc Jersey hogs in which Oksarben Olympus and Sensation largely predominate. The herd is headed by ftoyal Oak and Abilene Chief.

He has several 1 full blood Buff Leghorn chickens and a very large Hock of White Holland turkeys. He ships stock and etrgs to all points at the verv 1 prices. It will doubtless pay you to see him or write to him. In doing business with Mr. Shoemaker -U -no-bettet men to deal with.

He guarantees satisfaction in every way. H. C. HANCOCK. Mr.

Hancock is a man who has ouch faith in Kansas and especially country, ttis faith in this is well grounded. For many years I was a farmer and as such he was more than successful. A i years ago he retired from farm life a moved to town. Finding that an inactive life was not in accord with his aature, he went into the real estate business, not only in name but in fact. He spared no means in advertising and as a result we believe he has sold more land than any other man in Republic county in the same length of time.

This is partly because lie has the choicest lands in his charge. If you wish to buy or sell a farm put it in the hands of Mr. Hancock and our guess that you will do I. P. SELLERS.

lu A town the size of Narka one would not expect to find a lumber yard as large as the yards in our big cities, but such is true. The yard owned by Mr. Sellers would do justice to any city, both in the size of the yard and the quality and variety of woods. The main building is 52 feet wide and 140 feet long. The lumber is nicely piled tier upon tier almost to the ceil- His entire stock with the exception of shingles and posts are under shelter.

In this way the lumber is free and the rotting effect of the rains. Besides all kinds of building material Mr. Sellers bason hand a constant supply of the best coal at the lowest prices. A Little Early Kiser now and then, at bedtime will cure constipation, biliousness and liver rousing the secretions, moving the bowels gently, yet effectually, and giving such tone and strength to the stomach and liver that the cause of the trouble is removed entirely, and if their use is continued for a few days, there will be no return of the complaint. To those who reside in remote parts of the earth we will simply state that it has been raining iu the greater part of Kansas for "forty days and forty'ntghtsT" ceased to estimate the rainfall by inches but by feet.

As we go to press there is still a steady down pour with no visible prospects of fair weathe .1. The business men of Belleville ought- to make a vigorous demand of the railway company that the passengers from the north should be stooped at Mahaska, Narka and Munden. The commer- club, if we have one might take this matter up with the Rock Island I ejple and endeavor to have this injustice io the towns alluded to as well as Belleville remedied. Ames Wednesday. 1803. W. K. WALTERS, County Clerk. Sells A Downs Circus Different.

The Great Sells Downs United Show, whjehis on Wednesday, June 3rd. claims to be different from other shows, and, judging from the great variety of features and attractions advertised it will have no trouble to convince its patrons that it is very different from other tent shows. After due rejection, the oft- repeated senti ment' "When you have seen one cir cus you have seen them all," appears very absurd. One might as well say, When you have read one magazine you have read them or "When you have heard one lecture you have heard them all," or, "When you have -lrernTriT or, "When you have heard one band yon have heard them all," as to say When you have seen one circus yon have seen them all." A visit to the Sells and Downs Show will convince- the most skeptical that such sentimental talk is foolish, without foundation and upon investigation it resolves itself into an exaggerated absurdity The Great Sells Downs Shows hav horses, and so have other shows, but the Sells Downs Shows have the best horses in the land Other have bands, acrobatic performers, riders, but they are all very different from those-with the Sells Downs Show. It pays higher salaries and not only secures superior per- for-mers--nienHonL'd -aboA -e many novel, new and mysterious acts that cannot be imitated by other people successfully.

Most of the names and acts advertised by the Sells Downs is to be seen only with that show. Those people in this community who have not visited a circus during recent years because they supposed they were all alike will do well to visit the Sell Downs Shows, and they most agreeably and pleasantly disappointed and they will be forced to admit that the Great Sells Downs Shows are similar to others in but very few.minor points, and that, as whole, in quality and quantity and character it is far different from other tent concerns The Great Sells Downs Shows will positively exhibit for one day only in Belleville on Wednesday, June 3 A Wig One.
