My month Is surely the best greatest joihest and most first rate month of the year Hallowe'en ghosts witches goblins black cats and spooks show up numerously In my time The leaves begin to fall Why such jolly times have never been heard Then there was another roar and again the judge beat the pencil for silence month cannot be outdone by others" began November "Thanksgiving comes on one of my days Then everybody has a good time my began December the birthday of the Savior of the the greatest gift to mankind Since that time His birthday has been celebrated with gift giving and it is the best loved dav of the year 1 don't know why this great honor came to me but It has filled my heart with Joy and my humble wish is that everybody may be happy on Christmas dav aie right" agreed all the other months December does bring more happiness than any other month of the year" exclaimed Mrs Mouse "I must huu back to my family and tell them what I have CORAL CURTIS T-A McKinley School Salt Teke 4 4V -g I ti S- If the promises of our artists are reliable all that we have to do now In order to be rich some day is save our pennies And we believe that the promises are fairly reliable We are sure that boys and girls who save some of their summer earnings some ef their Christmas money some of the extra bits they have given to them during the long winter months and put these savings into a bank for a year's work at a business college or to THE EDITOR Lots of news this week: To begin with Helen Christensen topnotcher in our first big point contest Is a frequent visitor at our office Helen is always willing to support the current contestants and was present at Hope Nelson's medal program and also at Margaret Dudley's We are proud of such loyalty and count Helen's friendship for The Tribune Junior amorg the nicest things we've known Knight Crusader Janet Higgs only possibility for a Tribune medal next June has started to contribute again Janet is a very talented youngster and has twice been a topnotcher One more time will give her The Tribune medaL Bessie Pack of Logan the only other whose name appears twice is out because she is now in high school Gwen Johnston and her sister Dorothy from Blackfoot Idaho were visitors in town recently Gwen was at Margaret's program She is a charming little girl plump and dimpled and very enthusiastic Her small sister is kept on her toes by enthusiasm Another out of town visitor was Marie Borgeson of Fountain Green Although Marie Is only 6 years old and a page she is an ambitious member and played the violin at the program in The Tribune auditorium help them get into the university or to pay for one more work after they finish college well these boys and girls will be well set on the road to success First award for drawings went to Knight Constant Amy Nakashima age 15 Salt Lake second to Page Fames Kenner age 12 Salt Lake third place to Page Emily Araki age 12 Salt Lake and honorable mention to Lewu Gilson age 11 Ogden CHATS A LITTLE What would we do without these loyal members who are always on hand to help out in an emergency?
