Mr, and Mrs William Steels, Marianna '.and Sally are leaving Saturday for a four day vacation at Lake Madison, S., D., with Mr and Mrs Lester Plerider. Mr and Mrs D. S. Wildin and Mrs Cora Martin had as guests • last week Mrs Ruth Bell Harris, Valley City, N. D. and daughters, Mrs Lloyd Fish. and Mr and Mrs Maurice'Johnson. Mr and Mrs Glenn Stayer returned Friday from Rochester, Minn., where the former ,was undergoing a check-up at the Mayo clinic. He is slowly recovering from injuries suffered in a'car collision several months ago. Mr and Mrs G. F. Towne are being visited by their daughter. Betty, Mrs R. E. Clapper and sons Bob and Jonathan, Santa Maria, Calif. Lt. Col. Clapper is visiting with his parents in Mount Hope. West Va., and will be joined by his family. Dr. Nash is a dentist. • Mr and Mrs Gordon Kuhn have been visited at the Okoboji by Mr and Mrs Harold Walsley, Ada, Ohio, who joined them there after a visit at Emmetsburg ' with Mrs Kuhn's sister, Mrs Hattie Clum. The visitors also came here to visit Mr and Mrs Dalls, Klein.' • . Rev. and Mrs Eldon Weaver and sons Tony and Daniel, are vacationing at Henderson, Tenn., where they are visitig their parents and families. Speakers at the worship services for the first Sunday of their absence were Mr and Mrs John Abuhl,'missionary appointees to Africa. Mr and Mrs Orville Wicks and Barbara, Mr and Mrs Ron Rasmussen, Mr and Mrs L E. Rasmussen and Mrs r Clara Holm spent Sunday, at Iowa Falls with Mr and Mrs Bob Klein, Since then Mrs Holm has gone to Cedar Rapids, Des Moines for a visit of three weeks dividing the time between the places. Mil and Mrs Cecil Tayldr have been visited by Mrs Taylor's father, J. Hackel, Chicago, Mr and Mrs Orville Wicks have had as guests Mr and Mrs Vance Basler, Jo, Toni and Terry, Los Angeles. Mrs Henry Seller had as guests Sunday; Mr and Mrs Martin Bleich, Forest City, and Father Russell Martin .Bleich. Mr and Mrs Joe Tsehelter were yisited Monday by the letter's parents, Mr and Mrs Burton Lounsberry, Huron, S. D. Judy Greiman, Ann and Sandra Schmidt have moved into •an 'apartment i at Myrtle Turnbaugh's on east McGregor street Mr and Mrs Lowell Samp have been Mr and Mrs John* Lundstrom, Santa Suzanna, ,'Cal., Who brought'with-them the mother,- Mrs Selma 1 Godfrcdson. Dick Strayer, who has been in Boy Scout work, at Dodge City, Ban., has been transferred to Fort San Antqnip, Tex., and will be associated with Red Cross work. , • i Mr and Mrs Chester Schoby have had their granddaughter. Linda, 2, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Hicks, Ames, as guest the past several days while the parents are on vacation. .
