Mr and Mrs Ronald Peterson and two sons of Knob Noster, Mo. have been visiting the former's mother, Mrs Florence Peterson and other relatives hero. Mrs Peterson is the former Harriette Brown. Mr and Mrs Eugene Heimer had as their guests several days last week the former's mother, Mrs Kate Heimer, Rochester, Minn., and the brother and family, Mr and Mrs Dan Heimer and two daughters of Miriam, Kansas. —o— Plum Creek Womans club had the last meeting of their golden anniversary year July 12 with Mrs Howard Seely. Sigsbee, Mrs Lenore Hiltz and Mr and Mrs Russell Rentz and family, Bill Foth and Billy, and Mr and Mrs Don Smith, Jr., Dan and Bill. They spent the weekend in Minneapolis with the other son and family, the Arlo Pannkuk. Mrs Pannkuk's sister, Tena Beenken of Titonka, spent Tuesday here. John Phillips, son of Mrs Dick Phillips, left Friday by bus fof Washington, D. C. to spend three weeks with his brother, David. They will drive to Algona and David will spend some time here before reporting to the University of California at Berkely Sept. 5. He has a National Science Fellowship to study for his doctor's degree in physics. Clara Phillips, sister of the late Dick Phillips, of Grinell is spending the summer here,
