About 300 guests were in attendance. School Reunion Mr. and Mrs. Pete Halsrud attended a school reunion picnic at Ottosen Sunday. Mr. Halsrud was a student there many years ago. The previous week they met with Mrs. G. A. Sharp. To Convention John T. Tielebein, will attend the,Lutheran, Mutual Life Insurance Company's Award Convention alt Ithe Grand Hotel, Miackin- ac Island, Michigan, July 2 to 6. He qualified for the convention because of his outstanding record with the company during 1960. Only 136 agents out of a field force of more than 400 were invited to alttend the convention. Is Antioch Grad Yellow Springs. O., — Karen Shirley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs Lloyd Shirley, 518 South Minnesota, Algona, was among 170 students receiving degrees from Antioch College. Miss Shirlev was awarded her A. B. degree in design. A graduate of Algona high school, Miss Shirley enter ed Antioch in 1956. CARP Dale Reis of Lime Springs recently shot 30 carp of various sizes ranging up to 10 pounds on a bow-and-arrow fishing jaunt. Mr. Reis shot them from the river bank up the river from a dam.
