Texas Supreme Court yesterday upheld two lower court decisions Shamaley Rubin Candy Lane and Margaret Van Kleef all joined in borrowing money from the State National Bank of El Paso to buy a beauty shop the However after one payment on the note was made the payments became delinquent Rubin bought the note from the bank and filed suit against the other three AFTER RECOVERING all the property from the beauty shop and reselling it he filed the suit to recover the rest of the money The courts allowed him to recover from Lane and Van Kleef through default to appear However Shamalay decided to fight the matter in court and argued that Rubin had already recovered everything that was due less $9246 which should be his share But an El Paso jury disagreed saying that Shamalay was responsible quickly to check evidence linking birth-control pills with anemia that tired rundown feeling caused by blood cell deficiencies First evidence linking the pill ith anemia was revealed in this Journal of the American Medical Assn by Dr Richard Streiff a University of Florida blood specialist IN A STUDY conducted last year Dr Streiff said he found seven women whose anemia undoubtedly was caused by the pill Five of the seven women studied overcame their anemia by taking small daily doses of the vitamin folic acide with their birth-control pills Dr Streiff told Scripps-Howard Newspapers The other two women ceased being anemic and returned to normal when they stopped taking birth-control pills would estimate that possibly one woman in 1000 will become anemic after taking birth control pills" Dr Streiff said FDA ASSOCIATE Commissioner Dr John Jennings said the drug agency is interested in Dr StreifFs discovery and will seek corroborative studies finding isn't very Dr Jennings commented it
