The Times was published early this Thanksgiving week and the results were not available for this edition. Saturday the varsity team placed sixth in an invitational meet held at Forest Park In Beaumont. The scoring is counted on how few points are scored rather than how many.

The winner was lear Creek with 16 points, while La Mar-, tallied 113. )W i' Cougar runners and their times included Mike Reynolds 11:05, Gary Delaune 11:07, Ernie Kirkham 11:11 and John Gill 11:30. Varsity entries in the district meet Include the above four runners and Chris Marshall, Lee Whltaker and Larry Gulce.
