Mr. Herzog was born in Austria in 1907, the son of the well known university professor.

Dr. D. Herzog, now in Oxford, England. He studied law at several European universities and received his doctor's de- fcree After court practicesmp ne studied voice with Prof. Max Kleion and Prof.

Askar Posa. In 1932 he won the International Singers competition in Vienna and later sang with great success in Vienna and Stockholm where he lived following his removal from Austria in 1939. A year later he came to America and gave concerts in New York and received the scholarship at Iowa City. He has been heard in concerts and radio broadcasts. To Accompany.

Mrs. Herman Brown will accompany Mr. Herzog, whose program will include groups by Mendelssohn and Schubert, solo numbers from Composers Hahn, DeCapua Sjo-berc and two arias from "Andre Chenier" and "Vision Fugitive" from "Herodiade." He will close his program with Negro spirituals. i At 11 a. m.
