Could well be that by late this afternoon those exuberant Iowa State college celebrators will be doing their Btuff again, this time in Des Moines' Drake Stadium. A set of Drake goal posts In the logical target if their foot-ball team first co-operates by riddling the Bulldogs, as is expected. It will he the fifty-third game in this state's surviving major college foot hall series, and Iowa State figure in win by three or four touchdown. Since the thing In 198, the Cyclones have beaten Diake 35 times, lost only 13 with four games ending In ties. Not aince 1950, when John Bright helped do it by 35-21, has Drake won.

Last year at Ames it was a 55-7 rout for Iowa State. Today's contest will top off the Drake homecoming, and the season's first genuinely crisp football weather is forecast. Mighty Maryland slashed its way to a three-touchdown lead over Miami in a 13-minute demonstration of running and passing power Friday night, then coasted to a 30-0 victory in the Orange Bowl.
