JOE - Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Thul announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Virginia Rose, to Joseph Thomas Kulisek, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kulisek, Cicero, HI. Miss Tliul is employed as a nurse's aid at Friendship Haven, Ft. Dodge, and Mr. Kulisek is with Forsythe Construction Co., Berwyn, HI. A summer wedding is planned at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, St. Joe. v"-' 6 iN MISSOURI Patricia Ann Snyder and Dennis Eugene Schoby were married at the First Christian Church in California, Missouri, on January 12, 1968. Rev. Cecil Swinehart performed the double ring ceremony. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wolfe, Fairborn, Ohio, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Schoby, Latham, Missouri, formerly of Algona. Miss Timmie Hume, cousin of the bride, served as maid of honor and David Barbour, friend of the groom, served as best man. After the wedding a reception was held at the church. Servers were Mrs. Donna Robinson, sister of the groom, Mrs. Mary Ann Schoby, sister-in-law of the groom, and Mrs. Debbie Hill, cousin of the bride. Mrs. Hill also helped with the gifts. The bride is employed at the Department of Corrections, Jefferson City, Missouri, and the groom is employed at Pettigrew*s Store in Latham, Missouri. Mr. Schoby is a graduate of Algona High School and Mrs. Schoby is a graduate of California High School, California, Missouri. After a short wedding trip the couple is at home in California, Mo. - o - MR. AND MRS. Erman Hausen were guests of Mrs. Thomas Young at Titonka last Sunday. Mrs. Young is a sister of Mr. Hansen and also a sister of Andrew Hansen. MRS. M. G. BOURNE and little grandson Billy Hayes went to Ft. Dodge recently and from there flew to Omaha, Nebr., for a weekend visit with the Bournes son- in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. David Haggart. Dr. Bourne will join them and bring them home.
