2-Algona (Id.) Upper DM Molnw Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1968 MRS. HELEN HUTCHISON has returned from Des Moines where she visited her sons and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hutchison and family and Tom Hutchison. MRS. DICK MEYER went to Minneapolis Friday and will be there over the weekend. The daughter Joy is there, too. Rev. and Mrs. Benjamin Meyer are attending a retreat at Lake Geneva and Mrs. Meyer is staying with the children. MR. AND MRS. Marc Moore have spent the past two Sundays at Iowa Falls with their son-in- law and daughter, Marine, Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Ford. Jan. 21, the birthday of Mrs. Ford was observed. MR. AND MRS. Carl Morck are leaving for a vacation of several weeks at points in Florida, and at McAllen, Texas, where they will visit Mrs. Morck's brother-in-law .and sister, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Fletcher, and brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Anderson. DEAN KINSMAN, of the Kinsman and Sons Memorial Company, Algona, has just returned from a week of study at the Educational Institute on Sales Management at Evanston, m., presented by the Monument Industry Education Foundation. RANDALL Scott, infant adopted son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Sarchet, was baptized Sunday, Jan. 21, in St. Cecelia's Catholic Church here. Sponsors were Dave Barie and Mrs. Geo. E. Jergens, Jr. The youngster was born Jan. 8 and has a sister, Lisa, 4. A family dinner was held at the Sarchet home following the baptism. OLIVER BAKKEN, who had surgery at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Dodge, a few weeks ago, had to return there. He was visited Thursday by his wife and daughter, Mrs. Wayne Hanson. PERRY BYAM, Jr., student at Mason City Junior College, returned to classes yesterday. Lowell left Saturday to return to studies at the State University of South Dakota at Brookings. He attended the university prior to his tour of duty in service and has worked since his separation from the armed forces. ELIZA ANGLE and Mrs. Earl Bowman went to Titonka last Tuesday to see George Higgins, brother of Mrs. Angle, who had been in Veterans hospital, Des Moines. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bowman were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bowman, Jr. and family, Dodge Center, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Lallier and family, Ventura; Mrs. Sarah Lallier and Mrs. Eliza Angle. MRS. BESSIE JONES was visited one day last week by Mrs. Oliver Knudson, Inrington! Mrs. Knudson made her home with Mrs. Jones for seven years before Mrs. Jones decided to move to the rest home. Mrs. Knudson recently suffered a broken foot, in three places, but is making good recovery. MRS. EARL BOWMAN, Mrs. Eliza Angle and Mrs. Sarah Lallier were at Mason City Jan. 22 to see Mrs. Alice Mayfield at Mercy Hospital. She is a sister of Mrs. Angle.
