sus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Grace Edna Long, 92, of Luther died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Green Hills Health Care Center in Ames. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid, with burial at Fairview Cemetery near there. Miss Long, a lifelong Luther resident, was a homemaker and a mem--ber of Eternal Life Church.

Survivors include two brothers, John and Paul, both of Luther. Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Iowa Arboretum at Madrid. ADVERTISEMENT of injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Southtown Funeral Home, with burial at Norwalk Cemetery. Mr. Wright was born in Des Moines and had lived here most of his life. He was a testing technician with US West.

Survivors include his parents, John and Dora Lee Wright of Des Moines; and a sister, Alice Bryan of Des Moines. Caroline VanWeelden, 95, of Pel-la died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Pella Community Nursing Home.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Otley Reformed Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. Mrs. VanWeelden, a homemaker, was born in Peoria and had lived in Pella since 1992.

Tay Van Lo, 76, of 325 S.E. Philip St. died of cancer Wednesday at home. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton's Funeral Home, with burial at Old White Cemetery in Oskaloosa.

Mr. Lo was born in Lao Kay, Vietnam, and had lived in Jewell for 10 years, moving to Des Moines five months ago. Surviving are two sons, Tieng Lov-an of Des Moines and Khane Lovan of Sioux Falls, S.D.; six daughters, Kham Lo Sodak of Oskaloosa, Chaio Quang Thi of Newton, and Song Leung Thi, Choung Lo Thi, Phone Lo Thi and Noi Lo Thi, all of Laos; 35 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Gwendolyn E. Skinner, 70, of Polk City died of pneumonia Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Graveside services will be at 1 1 a.m. Saturday at Mitchellville Cemetery. Mrs.

Skinner was born in Ogden and had lived in Perry before moving to Polk City three weeks ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Mitchellville Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Frank of Marshalltown; a sister, Lavina Parker of Altoona; and two brothers, Raymond Tyler of Mitchellville and Stoddard Tyler of San Jose, Calif. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Mitchellville Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to her church. Vilah Lenore Loveridge, 90, of 4925 Franklin Ave. died Tuesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center, where she had undergone heart surgery. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Meredith Drive Reformed Church, of which she was a member.

Saturday at Glendale Cemetery. Mr. Pettijohn was born in Chariton and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was retired from the city of Des Moines and was an Air Force veteran of World Warll. Survivors include his wife, Mary; three daughters, Nita Noble and Lori Dennis, both of Des Moines, and Re-beccah Ballalatak of Polk City; two sons, Danny and Dale, both of Des Moines; three stepsons, Bill Gilliam, Ted Gilliam and Al Gilliam, all of Des Moines; two sisters, Ruth Jones and Laura Tucker, both of Des Moines; and 17 grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Hamilton's Funeral Home. Paul W. Egli, 52, of Lorimor died Tuesday at Criss Cove County Recreational Park in Madison County. The cause of death is unknown, pending the results of an autopsy. The death is under investigation as a suicide.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Manson Mennonite Church, with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery in Manson. Mr. Egli was born in Fort Dodge and had lived in Madison County since 1981. He was an automotive tool salesman and also raised ostriches.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; a son, Todd of Ankeny; a daughter, Melanie Egli of Osceola; and two sisters, Fern Kaufman of Manson and Kathryn Egli of Columbia, Md. Surviving are three daughters, Lori Soutter of Des Moines, Marilynn Cook of Kalona and Kathleen DeCan-dia of Algonquin, two sons, Kenneth and Dale, both of Des Moines; two sisters, Dorothy Sanger of Ankeny and Marion Bender of Milo; a brother, Ray of Des Moines; and nine grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Kavanagh House. Robert Guy Reynolds, 64, of Li- gutti Tower, 555 Fifth died of pneumonia Thursday at Veterans Medical Center. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Cathedral, of which he was a member.

Burial will be at Franklin Cemetery. Mr. Reynolds was born in Greene and had lived in Des Moines most of his life. He was a retired meat cutter and gas station manager and was an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include two brothers, Duane of Phoenix, and Dick of Algona; and three sisters, Leta Meyer of Greenfield, Margaret Seiler of Fort Dodge and Dorothy Fuess of Whittemore.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at lies Grandview Park Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Hai Van Nguyen, 20, of 2201 S.E. Rose Ave. died of a gunshot wound Sunday at Cafe DJ Vang, 1926 Cottage Grove Ave.

The death has been ruled a homicide. No local services are planned and burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in College Park, Ga. Mr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam and moved to Des Moines two weeks ago from Jonesboro, Ga. He had been a manicurist at Nail Trust.

His survivors, all of Forest Park, include, his mother and stepfather, Tien Thi and Long Thanh Nguyen; three brothers, Hung, David and Tuan; and four sisters, Tarn, Chi, Hanh and Linh. Local arrangements were handled by Hamilton's Funeral Home. A previous obituary listed an incorrect, location of survivors. Grace E. O'Malley, 96, of Arlington, died of a heart attack Monday at Cherrydale Health Care Center there, where she had lived six years.

Graveside services will be at 1 1 a.m. Saturday at Violet Hill Cemetery in Perry. Miss O'Malley was born in Perry and had lived in Des Moines until six years ago. She was a retired teacher with the Des Moines public schools. A sister, Eileen Barry of Arlington, survives.

Former Residents Here is information about the deaths of former central Iowa residents who moved from the area more than 20 years ago: Debbie Aalders Barnes, 48, of Slidell, who lived in Des Moines all her life until moving to Louisiana 21 years ago, died of cancer July 21 at home. Services were held July 25 in Slidell, with arrangements by Honaker Funeral Home. Polly Davis Montgomery, 44, of Omaha died of a seizure Aug. 2.

in Fairfax County, Va. The body was cremated no services are planned. Mrs. Montgomery was born in Chariton and had lived in Des Moines until 22 years ago. Arrangements were handled by Affordable Funeral Services in Vienna, Va.

Hunter, 64, of Indian- ola died of an abdominal aneurysm Wednesday at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines. Mr. Hunter was born in Milo and had lived in Indianola and Warren County most of his life, and had also recently lived in Des Moines. He was a retired tire builder at Armstrong Tire and Rubber Co. and a member of the American Legion and United Rubber Workers. Survivors include a son, Terry of Indianola; two daughters, Tina Woosley of Pleasant Hill and Denise Hunter of Omaha; four brothers, Pat of Indianola, Donald of Des Moines, ajid Jerry and David, both of Milo; three sisters, Mona Van Dorn of Polk City, Donna Greer of Omaha and Joyce Hunter of West Des Moines; and three grandchildren.

Scott was born in Tracy and had lived in Knoxville several years. She was a production control planner at 3M in Knoxville and a member of the Business and Professional Women's Association. Survivors include her husband, Don; three sons, Dale of Iowa City, Daniel of Dallas, Texas, and David of Fontana, two sisters, Betty Rinehart and Carolyn Poffenbarger, both of Indianola; three brothers, Robert Rankin of Green Valley, Leland Rankin of Mesa, and Larry Rankin of Conroe, Texas; and five grandchildren.
