Oatman Slams 724 'Bill Oatman saved his best fot the last. Oatman, bowling for the Heavy Service team of the Gillete League, blazed a 724 series Thursday night at Tommy Miller's State alleys. The series, achieved on games of 257-232-235, topped all previous efforts by city bowlers this season. The previous high was a 716, hit last September by Jim Peterson in the Twin City. The on ly other 700 was an even 700 by Bob Kopp in the Indianhead.

Oatman's big series came on the Gillette League's final night of action for the season. Road Graders took the Gillette season team title With a 49Vi-40Mt record to the 4941 of runnerup Tractors.
