Motion was made by Councilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Fischer Ihat the resolution be adopted as read. Motion earned. The following resolution was read: RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Rhinelander THAT the First National Bank and the Merchanls State Bank of Rhinelander, be hereby designated as official depositories for all city funds for the ensuing year.

Motion was made by Councilman THAT a public hearing will be held the Council Room of the City- Hall at 8 p. on Monday, May 14, 945, for the purpose of hearing ob- ections to the proposed improvements, and if Ihe Common Council deems such objections, if any, not sufficient, it will order the con- slruclion of said improvements at said hearing, or as soon thereafter as practicable. The Common Council retains the right to act on the above schedule of improvements as units or as a whole or to reduce the scope of such improvements as they see fit. It is further ordered that the -City Clerk shall forthwith forward a copy of this resolution to all owners affected, to their last known address. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council, acting as a Board of Public Works, hereby approve the schedule of estimated benefits and damages accruing to each lot and parcel of land abutting on said improvements as submitted herewith and that said schedule shall be kept on file with the City Clerk for the inspection of any interested persons.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, if said improvements or any part thereof are carried out, the actual cost of said work accruing to each lot and parcel of land on the front foot basis as benefits, shall be placed on the tax roll to be collected in four equal annual installments with interest on the "unpaid balances at the rate of four per cent per annum, except that any property owner shall have the right to pay any unpaid balance together with accrued interest, if any, at any time. Moved by Councilman Howard, seconded by Councilman Rousseau that the resolution be adopted as read. Motion carried.
