SUNDAY MAY 1, 2011 POUGHKEEPSIE JOURNAL OBITUARIES Elizabeth M. Liefer POUGHKEEP. SIE Elizabeth M. Liefer, 84, of Poughkeepsie, passed away on April 27, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born on April 7, 1927 in Millerton, NY, she was the daughter of George and Dora Hosier.

On February 26, 1943, she married William Liefer in Millerton, NY. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Jean Krajewski; her grandsons, William and 1 Frederick Krajewski, of Poughkeepsie, Richard Liefer, of Tucson, AZ, Gary Liefer, of New Mexico; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Cooper, of Rhinebeck, NY, Tara and Kelly Krajewski, and Carrie Matias, all of Poughkeepsie, Laura Liefer, of Ohio, and Sandy Liefer, of Tucson, AZ; her great grandchildren, Brandon Ayers, Ines, Daniel and Will Matias, Azriel Goddard, Madison and Jacob Krajewski, all of Poughkeepsie, Evelyn Cooper, of Rhinebeck, two unborn great grandsons whom she looked forward to coming, and her beloved cat, Sassy. She is predeceased by her husband, William; son, Richard; three sisters and four brothers. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Anwar for the great care he gave to her.

More obituaries OBITUARIES Robert B. Schaedler HOPEWELL JUNCTIONRobert B. Schaedler, 69, a five year resident of the Town of East Fishkill, formerly of Westchester County, died suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Thursday, April 28, 2011. He retired as a consultant three years ago, and formerly served as Executive Vice President for Standard Brands in Manhattan. Prior to this position, he had managed several plants for Nestle, and was transferred to many states across the country throughout his career.

He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Washington University. Born in St. Louis, MO on June 7, 1941, he was son of the late Charles and Mabel Conrad Schaedler. While in college, Robert enrolled in the ROTC Program and served in the U.S.

Army, Fort Sill, Oklahoma. He married Sally Martindale at Hope Evangelical Lutheran Church in Missouri. He is survived by his wife Sally. Robert is also survived by two sons, Robert B. Schaedler, Jr.

his wife Beth of New Jersey, Doug Schaedler his wife Jen of Florida; and Nancy Moore of California; his grandchildren, Rob Joe Schaedler, Adelaide Reese Schaedler, and Max Moore. He was predeceased by his sister, Constance Agee. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at McHoul Funeral Home, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m.

Auld, a resident of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Friday, April 29, 2011 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh.

He was 57. Son of Peter Auld of Hastings-on-Hudson and the late Shirley Pratt Auld, he was born July 8, 1953 in Montreal, Quebec. He married the former Emily M. lacomini on June 26, 1982 in Yonkers. Mrs.

Auld survives at home in Wappingers Falls. David worked as a mailman for the United States Postal Service in Beacon. He was an avid reader and enjoyed tennis and golf. His pets al also held a special place in his heart. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father and friend.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. In addition to his father, Peter and wife, Emily, he is survived by his two daughters, Jennifer M. Auld and her fiance Joseph Glickman of Wappingers Falls and Shannon M. Auld of Wappingers Falls; his brother, Andrew Auld of Connecticut; his two grandchildren, Lucas David Glickman and Dylan Glickman; his two nieces, Angela and Andrea and two nephews, Joseph and Brian. Family will receive their friends on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m.

Woolsey, 69, lifelong resident of Milton, NY passed away April 29, 2011 at Wingate at Ulster. Son of Adele Woolsey Lyons and the late Frederick C. Woolsey, Fred was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on June 9, 1941. He graduated from Marlboro High School and BaldwinWallace College, Berea, OH. Mr.

Woolsey taught school briefly in Wappingers Falls and spent a year teaching in an American school in Stuttgart, Germany, returning in 1968 to take a position in sales, which was the start of a lifetime career in sales. Fred retired from Hyde Park Motors in 2004 but served as a consultant until the dealership closed. A member of the Milton Methodist Church from childhood, Fred often played the organ for church services. He occasionally filled in as an organist for the Milton and Marlboro Presbyterian churches. He lent his support to the Friends of Milton Train Station renovation.

He was also one of those creative people who turned a hobby lamp making into a business. He is survived by his mother, Adele Woolsey Lyons, Highland, NY, his sister, Karen Woolsey Lloyd (Ronald), Lakeland, FL, his brother, Richard Woolsey, Clifton Park, NY, niece, Tracy Stajcar (Mark), Strongsville, OH, nephew, Evan Lloyd (Robin), San Francisco, CA, niece, Megan Woolsey Collins (Chris), Westfield, NJ, and nephew, Dr. Joshua Woolsey, DVM, Silver Spring, MD.
