Beth Ann Spratford On October 27, 2004, Beth Ann Spratford, at the age of 28, finally won her battle with Huntington's Disease. In life, Beth will be remembered for her sense of humor, her love of Girl Scouting, and for the enjoyment she got from being with family and friends. Beth was a member of Girl Scout troop 883, and had many happy moments canoeing, camping, and sharing with friends. Camp Dudley Gallahue was her favorite spot in the world. We would like to thank everyone involved in Beth's scouting experience over the years.

It truly was a joy for her. Carmel High School was another joy in Beth's life. We would like to thank all the teachers who made her experience a great one. We would especially like to thank her choir director, Ann Conrad. Although Beth's health was beginning to deteriorate, Ann always made her feel like a princess.

Her choir concerts were shining stars during a time that often held darkness. Beth would also have wanted to say thanks to the members of the Indianapolis Huntington's Disease support group and the staff at the genetics clinic at Riley Hospital. In the early stages of her illness, they helped with advice and support. Our family would like to extend our thanks to all the loving staff of Especially Kidz Rehabilitation Center and to the nurses and staff at Major Hospital, in Shelbyville, Indiana, for the dedication and care they gave to Beth. Our thanks also, to the beautiful people at the Shelby County Hospice Center for the support they gave to Beth and our family.
