He was 92 and had been suffering from Parkinson's disease for more than a decade. Jurow, al Dallas resident since 1971, had been a longtime agent and studio executive in New York and HollyAmong his productions was "Breakfast at Tiffany's." During the golden years of Hollywood studio filmmaking, he was executive assistant to movie titans Jack L. Warner and Hal B. Wallis and negotiated the original Hollywood contracts for Burt Lancaster, Kirk Douglas, Elvis Presley, Jack Lemmon, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis.

As a top-level agent for MCA and the William Morris Agency, he was instrumental in the Broadway productions of "My Fair Lady," "South Pacific," "The King and "Guys and Dolls" and "The Music Man." He played vital roles in the casting of such movies as "On the Waterfront" and "From Here to Eternity." LeRoy A. Bray 37, died Saturday, January 10, 2004. He was a resident of San Diego and formerly of Indianapolis. He was born May 17, 1966 in New Castle, Indiana. Survivors include his' father Richard D.

Bray of Indianapolis; two brothers William Bray and Richard Bray II, both of Indianapolis; sister Karen Bray of Indianapolis; dear friend William Chitwood of San Diego. He was preceded in death by his mother Cheryl I. Bray. He enjoyed sports, athletics, fishing and traveling. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m.

Tuesday at the Ben Franklin Chapel, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

As a life long resident of Carmel, he was born on June 22, 1912 to the late Edgar and Mary Bartholomew Brown.

Mr. Brown retired from Carmel Clay Schools having worked in maintenance for 20 years. He was an WWII Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Survivors include: his wife, Irene E.

Edna L. Burrows 91, Indianapolis, died February 12, 2004. She was the widow of Robert Elmer Burrows. Survivors include her daughter Carolyn J. Burrows; son Robert E.

As an independent producer, he was responsible for giving Audrey Hepburn and their signature roles in "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and "The Pink Panther," respectively. He also produced "The Great Race" with Jack Lemmon, Tony Curtis and Natalie Wood; "Soldier in the Rain" with Steve McQueen and Jackie Gleason; and "The Hanging Tree," which featured Gary Cooper's last outstanding Western role. Jurow continued to work after moving to Dallas. He made several films in Texas, most prominently "Terms of Endearment," which he co-produced with James L.

Brooks. The movie became a career highlight for veteran actress Shirley MacLaine and earned seven Oscars, including best picture, best actress (MacLaine), best supporting actor (Jack Nicholson) and best director (Brooks). Jurow's first job after graduating from Harvard Law School was with a New York law firm whose clients included George M. Cohan, Mae West, Eddie Cantor and Al Jolson. East St. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association. Benjamin Lee Cloyd 82, died Thursday, February 12, 2004 at Franklin Meadows Healthcare 1 in Franklin. He was a longtime resident of Franklin. He was born August 27, 1921 in Danville, Kentucky.

His parents were Mack Wesley and Frances (Young) Cloyd. He married Cleo Hale on November 25, 1945. She preceded him in passing on March 23, 1989. Survivors include a daughter Deborah A. Edwards, Franklin, Indiana; two brothers Charles Cloyd, Indianapolis, IN and Joseph (Toni) Cloyd, Denver, Colorado; sister Virginia (John) Patterson, Indianapolis, IN; 97 year old cousin Roberta Stewart and two grandchildren Bruce and Lee.

Also surviving are numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by five brothers Mack Wesley Cloyd, William Cloyd, Guy Cloyd, Jerry Cloyd and Wallace Cloyd; three sisters Dolly Mae Green, Cherri Brewer Cloyd and Lillian Cloyd. He attended school in Danville, Kentucky and Whiteland, Indiana. He owned and operated Cloyd Trucking Company, he drove for over 67 years. He was a former member of Olivet Baptist Church in Indianapolis, was a current member of Second Missionary Baptist Church, Franklin, Indiana and was a Mason.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in World War II. Revs. James Pruit, Ervin French and Ronald Hale will conduct a service at 2 p.m. Monday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, Franklin, Indiana.

John K. Farnam 87, Fishers, died Feb. 13, 2004. He was born Jan. 29, 1917 in Frankfort, KY.

Mr. Farnam worked for Reliance Electric in Columbus, IN, until his retirement in 1982. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a prisoner of war in Germany and later received a Purple Heart.

He was born August 19, 1914 in Princeton, Indiana. He was a graduate of Crispus Attucks in 1933, where he played football and earned three varsity letters. He later studied at Indiana State University and received his Freshman numbers. He was an avid sports fan, who enthusiastically followed the Indiana Pacers and attended their home games. He was an honorably discharged U.S.

Army veteran of WWII. He was a supervisor for 21 years with the Employment Security Division. Mr. Liggins was a Deacon at Mt. Zion and chaplain at the American Legion for 25 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth, in 1989. Survivors are his niece Geraldine Montgomery and his special friend and caregiver Joyce Klingman. Services were Friday, February 13, 2004 at 1 p.m. at Stuart Mortuary. Interment: Crown Hill Cemetery.

John Jonathan Lovell 79, Indianapolis, died Feb. 12, 2004. He was born Oct. 12, 1924. Mr.

Lovell was a truck driver for Campbell 66. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Teamsters Union 135 and Moose Lodge 17. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care the mortuary. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m.

Feb. 14 in Fountain Square Mortuary. He was the widower of Marie "Ilene" (O'Brien) Lovell. Survivors include sons Ronald Steven Dennis Allen, Martin W. Lovell; daughters Cheryl A.

(William) Walls, Teresa L. (Robert) Smith; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Charles William Maloy 74, Indianapolis, died Feb. 13, 2004. He was an engineer 30 years for the Allison Division of General Motors, retiring in 1992.

Mr. Maloy was a Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Centre Masonic Lodge 23 and Scottish Rite. Services will be at 1 p.m.

She managed the local Paul Harris for many years as well as the Posie Patch Bridal Store in Greenwood. She continued her career at the Plainfield Wal-Mart until 2002.

She was involved in various organizations including the Live Learn homemakers club, Plainfield School Board and booster club. Linda's life journey with her faith in Jesus Christ has touched the lives of many. She had been a faithful servant of the First Baptist Church of Plainfield for 32 years. Services will be held on Monday, Feb.16 at 2 p.m. in the church.

Friends may call at the church on Sunday, Feb. 15 from 2 to 6 p.m. and Monday from noon until time of service. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Marion Huffman on Feb.

17, 2004 at Todd Funeral Home in Rushville. He and his wife Lillian were of the Millers Drive In Restaurant in Rushville for 47 years. The Miller family built Millers Family Restaurant in 1991. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran of WWII in the Pacific Theater and was awarded two Purple Hearts for wounds received in Guam Iwo Jima. He was a life member of the VFW; member of American Legion and Indiana Restaurant Association.

Survivors include his wife Lillian E. Slovak whom he married on Jan. 10, 1948; Sons Richard Gary (wife Barb) Michael Barry (wife Alijene) Miller; Five Grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by a daughter and one grandson. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Diabetes Association.

He was born on March 1, 1918 in Kokomo to August and Agnes (Webster) Miller, both preceded him in death. He married Elizabeth D.

(Driffill) Miller of Greenfield on Jan. 6, 1951, she survives. Sylvester worked at Associated Milk Producers and then at Ermet Products, retiring in 1983. He formerly attended St. Phillips Catholic Church in Indianapolis and belonged to Greenfield Senior Citizens.

Sylvester served in WWII in the U.S. Army. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 16 at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home, Greenfield with calling from 2 to 4 p.m.

Sylvester was also preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Davisson; and brother, Clarence Miller. Janie Ann Pence 49, died Thursday, February 12, 2004, at her residence. She was a resident of Avon. She was born October 11, 1954, in Williamsburg, KY.

She married Charlie Pence on April 28, 1978. He survives. Survivors include mother, Scenia Isbill; three step-daughters, Debora Cadman, Annette Flemings, and Charlot Pingul; two brothers, Croley Isbill and Arthur Isbill; two sisters, Edna Rice and Wilma Rice; and eight step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother. She was employed by Site Sewer Contractors in the accounting department.

Prior to that she was employed by Dominion Realities in the accounting department. A service will be conducted at 10:00 Monday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service, Greenwood Chapel. Friends may call from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Roberts 83, Indianapolis, died Feb. 13, 2004. She lived in Lebanon from 1951 to 1970 and then on Merritt Island, Florida until 1999. While in Lebanon she worked for Taylor Smock Furniture and as a receptionist for Dr. Richard Hall and last for Dr.

Ernest Davidson, until 1970. She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church, Indianapolis. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Mon. Feb.

16 at Myers Chapel of Memories in Lebanon, with calling from 2 to 6 p.m. Sun. Feb. 15. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lebanon.

He was married to Mary Jane Unger Rogers and she survives. Mr. Rogers was a foreman of Over Head Line Division for Indianapolis Power Light, retiring after 38 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy.

I addition to his wife, survivors include one son Steven (Mary) E. Rogers; one daughter, Linda S. (Tom) Wedren. demeyer; Services and three grandchilwill be held 1 p.m. ton Monday, Park East February 16 at WashingCommunity Life Center, with calling one hour prior to service.
