Brandt Bray, 98, Indianapolis, a retired educator, will be at 10 a.m. July 2 in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. July 1. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.

She died June 27. Mrs. Bray was cafeteria manager 44 years at Flackville School 100, retiring in 1975. Previously, she was a teacher at Bridgeport Elementary School. She was a member of Bridgeport United Methodist Church, former worthy matron Bridgeport chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a volunteer at Methodist Hospital.

She was awarded the key to the city by U.S. Sen. Richard Lugar when he was Indianapolis mayor. She was the widow of Gurney W. Bray.

Survivors include a niece, Nancy Oglesby, and a nephew, Joe Brandt. Henry Ploch was art museum benefactor Associated Press WEST CALDWELL, N.J. Henry Ploch, a computer consultant who amassed collections of innovations and art, died Wednesday. He was 80. A lifelong arts lover, Ploch gave generously to museums.

He was an Inspector at Allison (Transmission) Division, GM. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a member of Christ Community Church at Lamong, Masonic Lodge Shriners; Scottish Rite, Local a Volunteer Firefighter at Westfield and he also was Santa Claus for Town of Westfield for many years. Cave and Christina Goode. Geraldean J. Johnson Beauchamp 87, Indianapolis, died June 28, 2003 in Westview Hospital. She was a school teacher 27 years for IPS, retiring in 1981. Mrs.

Beauchamp was a member of North United Methodist Church and Women's Society, Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, Crooked Creek Garden Club, North Park Eastern Star 404, American Association of University Women. She was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Speedway, IN, and St. Anthony's in Florence, SC. She is joining her husband Fred; sisters Elizabeth and Georgia; and brother Bill Morrison. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Peggy (Rick) Forst; grandchildren Christopher, Erin, "and Lauren Forst.

She was born March 7, 1933 to Robert L. and Violet (Ging) Kopp. She was united in marriage to Earl V. Brooks on March 21, 1959 and enjoyed a close a and happy marriage. She ployed by Amerisure (formerly Michigan Mutual Insurance Co.) for 26 years, retiring in 1978.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. For many years she volunteered at several different eastside nursing homes. She also spent countless hours helping family and friends. Carole is survived by her husband, Earl; her sisters, Midge Davis, Frances Bucy, Alice Tyra and Barbara Kopp; brother, Greg Kopp and sister-in-law, Sue Kopp. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews who knew her as their beloved "Aunt Kay Kay." A brother, Robert Leroy Kopp, preceded her in death.

Mary McKenna Cook Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, June 26, 2003 at Indiana University Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1943, the daughter of William Ferris and Mabel (Madigan) McKenna. Mary was a graduate of West Lafayette High School, class of 1960, where she was the recipient of several academic honors and awards. She received her bachelor of arts degree with honors from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and her master of arts degree from Indiana University, where she continued graduate studies.

Mary taught at Morton School in West Lafayette, the East Patchogue School on Long Island, and Washington Township Schools, where she was Coordinator of Special Education, until she retired in 1988. Mary loved reading, knitting, entertaining, walking the beach, and spending time with her beloved corgis. She married James Moody Cook on April 14, 1988. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sister, Rebecca McKenna Peyton; brother John Michael McKenna; bro Larry N. Peyton; sister-in-law, Josann Moser McKenna; nephew Brian Matthew McKenna; niece Katie McKenna Daniels; greatniece Madeline McKenna Daniels; uncle Francis Donald McKenna; along with many caring cousins and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 2 at 11 a.m. at Trinity Episcopal Church, Indianapolis. Friends may call at Flanner Buchanan Funeral Center Broad Ripple, from 4 to 8 p.m. July 1. Mary-of-the-Woods College, St. Mary IN 47802. Ann Malloy Distler Sandy Springs, GA, passed away June 27, 2003. Mrs. Distler was a resident of Sandy Springs for 22 years.

She previously lived in Indianapolis, IN. She retired from The American Legion National Headquarters. A memorial service will be scheduled for family and close friends. Arrangements: Wages Sons Funeral Home, Stone Mountain, GA. Mrs.

Distler was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Warren Distler who passed away in 1987. Survivors include: daughter, Ann D. Salo; son-in-law, Phillip Clark, Sandy Springs; son, J. NE, Atlanta, GA 30328. Herman Fowler 89, Martinsville, died June 28, 2003. He retired from Link Belt (F.M.C.) in Indianapolis after 39 years of services. Services: 1 p.m. July 2 at Neal Summers Mortuary with calling from 11 a.m.

until services. Burial: New South Park Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine (Johnston) Fowler; and 1 grandchild. Survivors: son, David Fowler, Martinsville; daughters, Judith L. Francis William "Sandy" Galvin 75, Fishers, died June 28, 2003. He was born Oct. 2, 1927 in Clinton County. Mr. Galvin married Mary Ruth Brewer on Sept.

5, 1950 at the Antioch Church Parsonage, she survives. He is a former employee of Swift and Federal Mogul Corp. and the Wesley Manor Retirement Community, Frankfort. He founded Energy Recovery Systems in 1981 and was self-employed, prior to his death. He served in the U.S.

Marines from 1945 to 1947. Mr. Galvin was an avid fisherman, bowler and sportsman. He graduated from Colfax High School 1945. Services will be at 1 p.m.

Wed. July 2, 2003 at Goodwin Funeral Home, Frankfort, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Tues. July 1, 2003. Burial will be at the Bunnell Cemetery.

"Margo" Mahone Granger 76, of Indianapolis, died Thursday, June 26, 2003. She was a charter member of the Covenant Community Church and a former member of the Witherspoon Presbyterian Ch Church.

Other affiliations include the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, 100 Black Women of Indianapolis and numerous contract bridge clubs. She retired from the U.S. Army Finance and Accounting Center, was a licensed Real Estate Agent, an independent Mary Kay Consultant, a substitute teacher in the Washington Township School System. Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday, July 2 at Covenant Community Church with calling from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 1.

Survivors include wife Mary Frances Harding Janeway; brothers Robert and Joseph Janeway; several nieces and nephews. Lillian Retha Jerrell Kirchner Lillian was born on March 24, 1921 to Howard Jerrell and Riva a Bowerly Jerrell.

She has joined the deceased members of her family on June 27, 2003. She was 82 years old. At the age of six her mother died and she was raised with her two brothers in the Glenlawn area of Seymour by her grandparents, Oscar and Ida Jerrell. On November 16, 1940 she married Paul Joseph Kirchner from North Vernon, IN. Her husband went off to war during World War II and she worked at the Seymour shoe factory, as did many of the women at the time.

After the war they moved to Indianapolis, where she worked at Western Electric until early in the 60's. In 1994, Lillian and Paul returned to Seymour to be near their families. She and her family were members of Little Flower, Nativity, and St. Ambrose of Seymour. She loved cooking and helped the ladies of the parshes with cooking for special occasions.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul, who died March 1, 1995; and her two brothers, Albert and James. She is survived by her two children, Thomas and Paula; six grandchildren, Brian, Amy, Cristy, Michael, Kimberly, and Jamie; and six great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 1 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, June 30 at Voss Chapel and after 9 a.m. until services Tuesday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery. Arrangements: Voss Sons Funeral Service, Seymour, IN.

Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association. Melvin Earl Mahurin 75, Indianapolis, died June 28, 2003. He was a minister in the Indianapolis area for over 30 years, doing mostly evangelical work. Mr. Mahurin had three poetry books published and was an accomplished singer and songwriter.

He had a radio broadcast in which he was known as the "Circuit Rider." Mr. Mahurin was a Navy veteran of World War II. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tues. July 1, 2003 at Bible Study Chapel, 2368 N.

Spencer Ave. Survivors include wife Mildred Mahurin; sons Melvin K. Mahurin and Mark S. Mahurin; daughters Kathleen Pool, Faith Ellen Fleetwood, Karen Westerman, Grace Labens; two sisters; three brothers; 13 grandchildren; five greatgrandchildren. Arrangements: Jordan Gray Funeral Home.

Mildred Louise McIntyre 90, Zionsville, died Sunday June 29, 2003 in Zionsville Meadows. Mrs. McIntyre was born in Hendricks County, Lizton, IN on January 10, 1913, a daughter of the late Asa and Alice Goodwin Scott. A resident of Lizton, she was a 1931 graduate of Lizton High School. She and her husband resided in Boone County and Danville, IN before she entered the Zionsville Meadows.

Mrs. McIntyre was married in Illinois in 1931 to Rev. John Osborne McIntyre, he died Oct. 4 4, 1993. During the 1960's she worked for several years at Danner's Store, Lebanon.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She enjoyed her family and was supportive of her husband's ministry. She was a member of Baptist Church, Clayton. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donor's choice or Alzheimer's Assoc. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

Wed. July 2, 2003 at Myers Chapel of Memories, Lebanon, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. Tues. July 1, 2003 in Myers Mortuary, Lebanon. Interment will be at the Coatesville Cemetery, Coatesville.

She was preceded in death by brother Russell Scott; sisters Violet Randie, Crystal Hoover and Anna Lee Gibbs. Gloria June Meece 62, Indianapolis, Indiana, died June 28, 2003. He worked in custodial services for Executive Management Services Inc. for 10 years. Mr. Norris was a 1976 graduate Cum Laude from Chaminade Jesuit University and a United States Marine Corps Veteran of Viet Nam. He is survived by his mother, Margaret Norris; his father, John F.

Norris; sisters, Mary Claire Welden and Nancy Moore; brothers, O'Brian Paul and Philip Joseph Norris; Companion and friend, Dianna Glass; and 8 nieces and nephews. Helen Poe 77, Danville, died June 29, 2003. She was born Jan. 29, 1926 in Hendricks Co. to Luke and Myrtle Trent. Mrs.

Poe was a mail clerk for American States Insurance Indianapolis for 25 years, retiring in 1983. She was the widow of Roy Poe. Services: 10 a.m. Wed. July 2 in Weaver Randolph Funeral Home, Danville, with visitation from 4 to 8 p.m.
