She was the widow of Robert C. Anderson, who died in 1984. She was a life long member of the Clermont Christian Church. She was a past Republican Party Precinct Committee Woman. She was a 50 year member of the Millersville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star, and member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She was a 20 year employee, retiring in 1985 from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles in Indpls. Her surviving relatives include her siblings, Jackie Berry, Tillie Roberts, and Todd Lippard; son Ron; grandchildren, Ron, Jennifer Audrey; and great-grandchildren, Miles Corbin. Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. July 3 at Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel, with calling from 3 to 8 p.m. July 2.

Hurst 68 of Valparaiso, formerly of In- dianapolis, passed away Sunday, 29, 2003 at Porter Memorial Hospital in Valparaiso. On November 16, 1934 she was born in Jamestown, TN, the daughter of Ernest and Mossie (Dishman) Lawson. She was employed at St. Hospital, Indianapolis in the housekeeping department. In 1954 she married Garner Hurst in Livingston, TN.

He preceded her in death on April 24, 1989. She was a member of Eastlake Baptist Church in Crown Point. Survivors include one son: Dan (Karma) Hurst of Palmyra, MO; two daughters: Pam (Phil) Withrow of Valparaiso; Lori Tracy) Fahy of Indianapolis; six grandchildren: Amanda and Aaron Withrow, Lacy, Ivy, Sophie Hurst and Brian Harlow; two sisters: Thelma Jean LaFever of Algood, TN and Faye Brasfield of Fairfield Glades, TN. Merridean H. Clark Mohr 83, Lizton, died June 29, 2003 in St. Vincents Hospital. She was born Nov.

13, 1919. Mrs. Mohr was a graduate of Danville High School. She was the owner and operator of The Powder Puff Beauty Shop in Lizton for 30 years. Mrs.

Ralph played an important role in the design and construction of roadways, bridges, and structures throughout Indiana, Ohio, Illinois, and Michigan; including interstate 465, and the Central Post Office. After working as a civil and structural engineer for the State of Indiana, he was a partner in consulting engineering firms until his retirement in 1993.

He was a member of Castleview Baptist Church and the Super Sixties at the Church, American Legion, Tau Beta Phi, Delta Tau Delta, and Chi Epsilon. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 3 at 10 a.m., with visitation Wednesday, July 2 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Rick was born on Nov. 29, 1965 in Ft. Sill, OK to Frank and Audrey (Ilves) Gentzke. He was a graduate of Indiana State University and Indiana University. Rick had worked as a life worker for the past five years at First Home, a division of Wishard Memorial Hospital.

He was an avid photographer, enjoyed the outdoors and especially appreciated gardening. In addition to his parents, Frank and Audrey, survivors include brother, Mike Gentzke; grandmothers Anna B. Gentzke and Linda Tenn and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may greet the family on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. in Leppert Hensley Mortuary, Nora Chapel.

Jessie C. Jones Hogg 67, Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Indianapolis, died June 28, 2003. Funeral services to celebrate her life, will be held on Thursday, July 3, at 1 p.m. in Family Funeral Care, with calling from 11 a.m.

He was born on June 4, 1949 in Valparaiso, IN, to the late Eugene W. Shook and Norma J.

Wittenberg Shook, who survives. Neil was a 1971 graduate of Indiana University, graduating with distinction, and a 1975 graduate of Indiana University Law School, Indianapolis, graduating Magna Cum Laude. A well respected member of Indianapolis legal community, Neil began his distinguished legal career at the law firm of Bamberger Feibleman in 1975. When partners Elliott Levin and George Rubin formed their own firm in 1977, Neil and his wife Debbie left Bamberger Feibleman to establish the firm of Rubin Levin, where Neil was a partner until his retirement in 1998 due to his failing health. He was an author of numerous articles on commercial and bankruptcy law and a frequent lecturer for the Indiana Continuing Legal Education Foundation.

He was Past President of the Indianapolis Bar Association. In addition, he was Adjunct Professor of Bankruptcy at Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, for seven years. He was the recipient of the Paul H. Buchannan, Jr. Award of Excellence, Indiana State Bar Association Presidential Citation for exceptional contributions to the profession of law, and other awards too numerous to mention.

Neil was an inspiration and a mentor to many young attorneys practicing in Indianapolis and throughout Indiana. He will be remembered as a "lawyer's who practiced law with great honor, integrity civility. An avid sportsman and outstanding athlete, Neil was especially fond of fly fishing and canoeing with his friends and family. He was also an active soccer dad with both of his son's high school and college teams. Neil bravely battled ALS "Lou Gehrig's Disease," for 8 years, and in 2002 attended the walk to D' feet ALS in Carmel.

Team Shook, comprised of friends, family and the North Central men's soccer and obtained a sizeable donation team, grew to or over 100 walkers for the ALS Foundation. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Debbie J. (Lohman) Shook, with whom he practiced law at Rubin Levin; sons, Evan, a junior at DePauw, and Ryan, a graduating senior at North Central High School. Neil also leaves behind his mother, Norma J. (Wittenberg) Shook of Valparaiso, IN; sisters, Susan Shook Osburn, of Dallas, Texas, and Debbie Shook Hermes, of Lake Forest, Illinois.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. July 3 in Meridian Street United Methodist Church, located at 5500 N. MeridStreet. Friends may greet the family in the church parlor immediately following the service. Memorial gifts may be given to the Neil E.
