Legend: A word often tacked onto Vince Lombardi's name is "legendary." Here's a vote for the play "Lombardi" being legendary. The play by Eric Si-monson did the seemingly impossible. It took the story of a football coach onto the mega scene of New York City and survived and succeeded.

A recent production brought Milwaukee Repertory Theatre its first $1 million ticket sales event in its history. Another production of "Lombardi" is in a fall run at Door County's Peninsula Players with yet another actor playing the legendary Green Bay Packers coach and earning standing ovations. It's been a remarkable run for the play. Different: John Rieben, an emeritus professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has a heads up for the Green Bay business com- and 9:40.
