Colimon of Nanuet passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the age of 82. Stenio was born in Port-au-Prince Haiti to Mr.

and Mrs. Leopold Colimon. Stenio was married to his wife, Claudette, for over 47 years at the time of her passing several years ago. Stenio is also predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. He is survived by his devoted daughters, Marjorie, Mary, and Claudia, his caring son, Yves, supportive sons-in-law, Yves and Clifton, and a daughter-in-law, Yvette.

He is also survived by his loving grandchildren, Anthony, Antoine, Kieran, Jonathan, Jasmin, Aaliyah, Andrew, Clifton, Alec, Claudine, and Nicole. Ed and Monica Lynch had 21 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Ed was a talented author who started his sports writing career covering the Bear Mountain Ski Jumps for many New York Metro Newspapers. He was also the Sports Editor for the former Suffern Independent. After working over one decade for the Journal News as a Linotype operator at Hudson Street in Nyack, New York, Ed went on to a successful career as a Sports Copy Editor for the Herald Tribune, the New York Times and eventually two decades with the New York Daily News. Ed's craft as a writer was his wit and way with words that in one instance made him famous in sports writing for the infamous NFL "Heidi Game Headline' that Sportscaster Howard Cosell called "The Greatest Sports headline ever Ed enjoyed retirement and golf, but most of all enjoyed time with his Family teaching them "A Word for the Day" and pointing out grammatical failings in a kind, humorous and loving way.

Ed Lynch will be missed by many and he changed for the better all lives of those honored to truly know him. A wake will be held at Hannemann Funeral Home in Nyack, New York on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 2 PM to 5 PM and 7 PM to 9 PM. Vernon, Rye Brook, and Manhattan, entered into eternal rest after an extended illness on August 30, 2015 in Fishkill, NY. He built his legacy through community service and as the founding principal of Westage Companies Development Corporation. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Marilynn H. Petrillo; son, Ted Petrillo; daughters, Karen Quito, Debra Mortirano, and Dina Herz; stepchildren, Melissa McCoy and Craig McCoy; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sister, Eileen Petrillo. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm, Wednesday, September 2 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Main Street, Fishkill, NY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10a.m. Thursday, September 3 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. Lynch, Jr. died August 29, 2015 at his home in Rockland County surrounded by Family and most of all by his loving and talented Wife of 67 years, Monica T. Lynch. Ed was simply stated, a most extraordinary ordinary man. Born on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception December 8, 1924 and raised in Haverstraw, New York where he graduated from St.

Peter's Grammar School and Haverstraw High School in 1942, Ed served in the US Army in World War II with Patton's Third Army, 26th Division (Yankee Division) 328th Infantry Regiment, I Company and was awarded a Bronze Star and Two Purple Hearts along with other medals. Ed's most special medal, however, was a Marian Miraculous Medal that he carried throughout combat in WWII and later gave to his Grandson, US Marine Corp EOD Specialist Sgt. Timothy Lynch, Jr, who carried that same Miraculous Medal in combat where he too was awarded the Bronze Star during the Iraq War. Ed attended Providence College and also received the National Order of the Legion of Honor Award from France for his WWII Combat War Service there. Ed married the love of his life, Monica, also of Haverstraw at St.

Peter's Church in 1948. They had six children, Eileen (Richard) Meighan of Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, Judge Dennis (Marcia) Lynch of South Nyack, New York, Terence (Maureen) Lynch, of New City, New York, Timothy (Susan) Lynch, of Chicago, Illinois, Patricia (Paul) Devine of Utah and Robert (Carol) PERAZZO, DONNA A. Donna A. Perazzo (nee Auletta), 57, of Tuxedo Park, formerly of New City, passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Beloved wife of David J.

Perazzo. Cherished mother of Lisa Walz and her husband Gregory of Poughkeepsie, NY, Christen Anz and her husband Isaac of Phoenixville, PA and Heather Caporaso and her husband Matthew of Middletown, DE. She will be greatly missed by her loving grandchildren Nick and Kaitlin. Margaret always had a love of reading and the outdoors. She was born on January 18, 1930 in Allendale. Sorce 2Jj Warren Alvin Pedersen who for over 50 years lived on Buena Vista Road, in New City, passed away on August 30th. Born in Brooklyn, New York on September 12, 1928 to Edwin Pedersen and Betty (Skogland) Pedersen, he moved to New City at age 8. He attended Little Red School House, Spring Valley High School, and Waldorf College in Forest City Iowa, where he lettered in football and baseball. He served in the Army from 1950 to 1953 at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey where he operated radar jamming equipment.

His "bunk mate" was Yankee Pitcher Whitey Ford. He started a green house business with his older brother Rod. He attended New City Park Evangelical Free Church where he met his future wife Janice Pedersen. They married on August 27th, 1955 at the church. He joined the Electrical Union Local 363 at the age of 38 and retired from at the age of 62.

He worked on many Rockland County buildings including the County Seat, Blue Hill and as well as the Javits Center, and Guggenheim Museum. No project was too big; he renovated rooms, converted patios to bedrooms, decks and a tractor house for his vintage 1953 Farmall tractor. He loved to travel in the family camper exploring the Northeast. He loved sailing his O'Day sailboat where for years he enjoyed the Hudson River. He was always helping friends and family with their electrical problems.

He was a dedicated Church worker who did many projects for Park Church. He also joined the Church Choir in his later years. He headed up the Clarkstown Reformed Church Restoration where he also attended for several years. Park Church honored him recently with a plaque for his involvement in Boys Brigade. He is survived by three sons, Kent and wife Sue, Greg and wife Maria and Steve and wife Susie Pedersen; seven grandchildren Kate, Emily, Gregory, Sarah and Jessie, Steven, Merrie, and Tore, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his wife Janice in 1999 and brother Rodney in 2013. Visiting will be at Higgins Funeral Home, New City Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 2-4PM and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held 10AM Friday, September 4,2015 at Park Evangelical Church, with burial following at Martinus Hogenkamp Cemetery. Jay also enjoyed bicycle touring, especially in Vermont, with family and friends. While at Yale, Jay competed in crew and soccer. Jay enjoyed reading and art, as well as spending time at his home and in his garden. Having spent his early years in Nyack and Saugerties, NY he carried a special fondness for the Hudson River Valley. One of Jay's proudest accomplishments was being awarded the position of "principal bassoonist" for the Summit, NJ Symphony.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 8 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home in Pompton Plains, NJ between the hours of 2-4 and 7-9PM. MACRAE, RAYLENE Raylene MacRae, of Garnerville, passed away on August 28, 2015. She was 68. She was born to Anna Marie Helbig and Edward Jackson "E.J." Barthlow in Suffern in 1947. Raylene worked as a well known psychic consultant, clairvoyant, and medium for over 40 yrs. She was dedicated to serving her community providing spiritual guidance to many.

She served as a comfort and counselorto those who sought her advice. She was a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Her grandson was the light of her life. She was a lover and rescuer of animals. She inspired and impacted the lives of many.

Raylene was the embodiment of a truly strong, intelligent, and independent woman. She was a teacher of spirituality who lived her teachings each and every day. Her loss will be felt by many. Raylene is survived by her husband Eric; her daughter Dana Ann (Donald Paul) Post of Milford, PA; her brother Harry Richard Crowe of Stony Point; and her beloved grandson Noah James Post. Raylene was predeceased by her husband of 25 yrs, Charles William Van Wart, and her parents.

Raylene's family will receive friends on Wed, Sept. 2, from 4-8 PM at the T.J. McGowan Sons Funeral Home, Garnerville. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sept. 3 at 11 AM, with a private cremation to follow.

Jay was born on March 25, 1949 in Nyack, NY. Following graduation from Nyack High School, Jay earned his B.A. Degree from Yale University and his MBA degree from Harvard University. Jay is survived by his wife of 37 years, Helen Crispe Hesselgrave of Newfane, VT, 2 sisters, Barbara Wulf of Princeton, NJ and Joan Malcolm and her husband Bryant of Warwick, NY, a brother-in-law Lawrin Crispe and his wife Pam of Brattleboro, VT, 2 sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Leins of Ossining, NY and Diane Crispe of Whippany, NJ. Jay's extended family includes many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was pre-deceased by his parents, John and Ruth Mapes Hesselgrave of Nyack, NY. For the past 20 years, Jay has been self-employed as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and Investment Advisor. He was a registered member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. He previously served as Vice President of the B.D. Malcolm Company in Lincoln Park, NJ, plant manager at General Cable in Pownal, VT, and plant manager at Converse in Puerto Rico.
