The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis Wallace Rayburn of Augusta. Cecilia chose Terry Moore of Augusta as maid of honor for the 7 p.m. ceremony.

Matron of honor was the bride's sister-in-law, Ruth Rayburn. Bridesmaids were Darcy Jackson of Atlanta, Sandy Brown of Appling, Tammie Austin and Vickie Reese, both of Augusta. Heather Rayburn, the bride's niece, was junior bridesmaid. John chose Paul Ruiz of Hoffman Estates as best man. Groomsmen were the groom's brother, Kevin Sacht of Augusta, the bride's brother, Burt Rayburn of Augusta, Tom Allen of Hoffman Estates, Jerry Gerami of Chicago and Dennis Steinhoff of Hoffman Estates.

She is employed by the Hamilton Hotel in Itasca. Michael is a 1981 graduate of Elk Grove High School and received an associate's degree in food and culinary arts from Harper College, Palatine, in 1983.

Holiday card sales to aid handicapped Countryside Association for the Handicapped of Palatine and Waukegan is offering custom-design holiday greeting cards for the holiday season. Proceeds will help support association activities. Packages of twenty cards and envelopes are being offered at $5 each, which is tax-deductible. Imprinting is available on orders of 100 or more.

The first card, drawn by Susan Veller, freelance artist, is a watercolor painting of a holiday poinsettia. The message reads, "Wishing You a Beautiful Holiday season and a New Year of Peace and Happiness." The other selection was by Lori Couve, a Countryside workshop client. The card features a decorative Christmas tree complete with presents, with the inside verse, "Greetings of the Season and Best Wishes for the New Year."
