Page30A DemocratandChronicle. com Limpert, Joan P. (Pilecki) Rochester: Aug. 27, 2015, age 85. Predeceased by her husband, Richard Limpert; and her brother, Frank Pilecki.

Survived by her daughters, Joan (Thomas) Clarke of VT, and Jean Vaughn; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; her brother, Gerard (Virginia) Pilecki; many nieces, nephews, dear friends; and special guardians, Monica Guardino and Rona Huss. Joan was a sweet, loving, and kind person who had an extremely generous spirit and an infectious laugh that lit up any room. Throughout her journey on this earth, she touched many many lives. Joan was a life-long member of the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen and the women to serve as President of the Rochester Chapter. She worked many years for both St.

John Fisher College and Monroe Community College where she started the Printing Department. She was driven by her very strong faith and was a life-long member of St. Church and also a member of St. Church Downtown. Joan volunteered for many churches and organizations, but had a special and love for the Sisters of Mercy, who considered Joan a family member.

No prior calling hours. memorial Mass will be celebrated TUESDAY, Sept. 8, 2015 at 10 AM in the chapel of the Sisters of Mercy Motherhouse (1437 Blossom Rochester, 14610), followed by a reception. Private Interment in White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 1437 Blossom Rd.

I was a graduate of Rivers High School and a graduate of State University College of Brockport with a Degree of Science in Education and a Degree in English. I met the love of my life Howard Ralph MacNally at my church where he was stationed at the Naval Base in Charleston, SC. Mac and I were married December 18, 1954. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 2, 2015 1PM at the Fairport Baptist Home Chapel.

Markidis, Marilyn R. (Steele) Irondequoit: August 23, 2015 at age 73. Survived by her children: Nicholas, Stephen (Jacqueline), Christopher (Monika), Leonard, and Laura (William) Stroud; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Mueller, Patricia Prince, Diane (Sam) Parrow, and Roland (Jeanne) Steele; several cousins, nieces and nephews. Trinker, Elsa (Febe) Pittsford: Elsa (Febe) Trinker, formerly of Pittsford, the wife of the late Vincent D. Trinker, died peacefully Aug.

8 in Connecticut. She was 95. A devoted elementary school teacher for more than 45 years, she retired from teaching in the Pittsford Public Schools in 1994, but continued serving as a substitute teacher there until the age of 88. Born on an island off Stonington, Maine, she was a graduate of Lesley College in Cambridge, where she met her husband, who was attending college and law school. She later attended a graduate studies program at Nazareth College of Rochester.

Her career included teaching in a one-room schoolhouse on Long Island and in Horseheads, N.Y. in the 1940s, and at the Harley School in Rochester. She taught second grade at Lincoln Avenue and Thornell Road schools in Pittsford for more than 35 years. She was a beloved teacher to many, receiving countless letters and cards of appreciation throughout her career and long after, and was invited to her weddings and other important lifetime events for years. She was named a lifetime member of the National PTA, and is included in Who in American Teachers.

As a young professional, she was an active supporter of the March of Dimes and Planned Parenthood. After retirement, she volunteered for many years as a reader at the Highlands at Pittsford Adult Day Care Center. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include: a daughter, Gretchen Webster, and her husband, Gary, of a son, Gregory Ditrinco, and his wife Monica, of Boulder, four grandchildren: Morgan Gotfried and her husband Ben of Whitney Webster of Philadelphia; Phoebe and Zeno Ditrinco of Boulder; two great-grandsons, Brandyn and Bennett Gotfried; two sisters- in-law, Lucy Ferraro of Rochester and Betty Boccacino of Pittsford; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Sept.

(Zury) Stone, age 45 of Godfreys Pond, passed away early Saturday morning (August 15, 2015) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester. Renee was born September 21, 1969 in Batavia, a daughter of Lorraine Bates Zury and the late Ronald Zury. Renee is survived by her mother, Lorraine Zury of Bergen and her long time family friend, Bill Schuhart; her brothers, Timothy (Grisell) Zury of Springwater and Daniel (Lena) Zury of Mahwah, NJ and their children, Keith Zury and Nicolette Zury, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be remembered as a very kind, generous and loving person. There will be no prior visitation and memorial mass will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 11:00 A.M.

He was born on March 24, 1939 in Batavia, New York. He grew up in Rochester, New York and attended Holy Rosary grammar school, Aquinas Institute and Saint John Fisher College. Upon graduation he joined the OTS program of the United States Air Force. Stanley served years active duty during the Vietnam war. He achieved the rank of Captain while serving proudly in the U.S.

Strategic Air Command. After the Air Force Stanley was employed by the Xerox Corporation as a Personnel Manager. Later he also worked for a recruiting that hired executives for local business. His parents Mary and Stanley F. Spoor and his sons Daniel and Kevin Spoor predeceased Stanley.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Anita Marie Spoor, his daughter Laureen, son Kenneth Spoor of Chicago and his sisters, Lois Spoor (Belknap), Karen and brother Gary Spoor. The were longtime residents of the Browncroft area in the city and the family attended St. John the Evangelist parish. Stanley and his family are grateful to the caregivers at Monroe Community Hospital where he lived for 15 years. The family would like to thank both the Nursing and Aide staff on Friendship 3 West and his longtime roommate Paul Allison.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Celebration of life on September 18, 2015 at 11 A.M. in Monroe Community Brass Chandelier Auditorium.
