Seneca Class Of 1957 Has A SENECA - The Seneca High School graduating class of 1957 held their 10-year class reunion Saturday evening with dinner at the Cardinal in Estherville, with Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Gardner as hosts. Following dinner, the group were guests at the Gardner home for the remainder of the evening. Enjoying the courtesy were class members and their spouses, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Breese, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Claussen (Sharon Dorsey of Spencer), Mr. and Mrs. David Looft, Dwane Johannesen, and hosts, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner. Walker, Whittemore, and Marlyn Steinberger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Holtorf of Mesa, exchanged nuptial vows Aug. 20 at 2:30p.m. in St. Paul's Lutheran Church .with Rev. Cleo Kautsch officiating at the double ring ceremony. Reuben Butzke, organist, accompanied Mrs. Cleo Kautsch, soloist Mr. Walker escorted his daughter to the alter. Mrs. Roger Dreyer, sister of the bride, was her personal attendant. Mrs. •Richard A. Peterson was her sister's matron of honor and Inez Hanover was bridesmaid. Tim Struecker was groomsman and Warren Householder was best man. Gene Walker, brother of the bride, and Cliff Steinberger, uncle of the groom, were ushers. Mrs. Gene Walker was In charge of the guest book. A reception was held following the ceremony in the church parlors with Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Zumach, hosts. A three-tiered wedding cake adorned the serving table. Mrs. Theodore Meier cut the cake and Mrs. Duane Wlddel served it. Patty Dietrich and Pauline Houswirth served punch. Mrs. Floyd Vader, aunt of the bride, and Mrs. Rose Johnson, aunt of the groom, served coffee. The bride attended St. Paul's Lutheran School in Whittemore, graduated from Sentral • High Schpol, Fenton, attended Professional Institute at Minneapolis and Is employed at Dr. O'Dell, Mesa. The bridegroom attended the Fenton school and graduated from Sentral High School and attended two years of Junior college at Mesa and at present is employed at Motor Supply Co., Mesa, and will attend Arizona State University this fall. They will live at Mesa. SENECA STARS The Seneca Stars 4-H Club met at the home of Cathy and Carrie Bergum Aug. 12. Eleven members answered roll, call by telling a humorous Joke or story. Becky Jensen gave an Illustrated talk of choosing a proper reading light. Cheryl Breese had charge of a short recreation period after which refreshments were served by the hostesses. - o- Audrey Bergum, who is attending Mankato Commercial College, spent the weekend with her parents, the Art Bergums. Mr. and Mrs. Clay Boyd, Chuck and Daniel, Moscow, Idaho, spent the past two weeks visiting at the parental Curtis Olsen home and with other relatives in the area. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd also at- tended the Hospital Business Administration convention at Chicago, HI. Their son Chuck visited two weeks at the GaylordOlsen's before his parents arrival. They concluded their visit Friday. David Olsen of San Gabriel, Calil., who has spent the summer months with his grandparents, the Edwin Juhls, Estherville, and the Curtis Olsens, Fenton, will be concluding his visit Sept. 1 and will be leaving by plane for his home. Mr. and Mrs. F. N. Lindquist, Ventit and Marian Hedia of Wheaton, Minn, recently visited at the Ervin Vottelers. They are Mrs. Votteler's parents. Max Borchardt, while visiting his cousin Wayne Loke, Elmhurst, 01., visited the Museum of Science and Industry, Lincoln Park zoo, River View Park, the Wax Museum and saw a White Sox baseball game and visited the Wisconsin Dells. Mr. and Mrs. Harley Kooker and family, Adrian, Mo., spent a few days last week at the Virgil Borchardt and Sylvester Hainzinger homes.
