Anderson, 58, died at 12:10 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Hospital, Estherville, as the result of a stroke last Saturday. He was born March 8, 1009 at Swea City to Mr. and Mrs. George Oscar Anderson. He graduated from the Swea City school and attended the University of Minnesota. He was married Dec. 29, 1941 to Naomi Hewett at Maryville, Mo. He lived his whole life in Swea City and had operated his own grocery store since 1945. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Lions Club and Swea City Commercial Club. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Swea City. He is survived by his wife, Naomi of Swea City, and a nephew Charles Hewett, who has made his home with the Andersons for the past 10 years.
