Mrs. Edna (Edge) Mika CHICAGO -Mrs. Edna (Edge) Mika, 84, of Chicago, died Friday, Aug. 5, 1983 at Countryside Nursing Center in Aurora. She was born March 9, 1899 in Kenosha, the daughter of Peter and Anna Johnson.

She married Rudolph Mika. She was a nurse and was employed for many years in hotel housekeeping management in Chicago. She was a member of the Hotel Housekeepers Association. She is survived by one son, Robert Emmett Edge of Norridge; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Geraldine) Latimer of Bluemont, Mrs.

Clark (Irene) Nehring of Hinckley, Virginia Car-nahan of Sycamore and Mrs. Otto (Shirley) Hueb-ner of Carmel Valley, 18 grandchildren; and 15 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Mika in 1980. Private graveside service will be Friday, Aug. 12, 1983 at Elmlawn Cemetery in Elmhurst.

There will be no visitation. Arrangements were completed by Healy Chapel in Aurora. Verna M.Torrance ROCHELLE Verna M. Torrance, 85, of 810 N. Seventh Rochelle, died Sunday, Aug.

7, 1983 at Rochelle Community Hospital. She was born June 27, 1898 in Wyanet, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Ganschow) Schmidt. She married James Torrance on June 27, 1937 in Dixon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of DeKalb. She is survived by one son, Cecil Wilson of Princeton; two grandchildren I and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, James on Sept. 12, 1974, one daughter and one sister. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Cluts-Simes Funeral Home in Rochelle, with Pastor Norman Williston of the First Baptist Church of DeKalb officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Dixon.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at Cluts-Simes Funeral Home in Rochelle. Maynard E. Ebbesen Maynard E. Ebbesen, 81, 114 Terrace Drive, DeKalb, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 1983 at Kishwaukee Community Hospital In DeKalb. He was born Jan.

8, 1902 in DeKalb, the son of Andrew N. and Annie (Wilde) Ebbesen. He married Elsie Bass in Des PlainesonOct.4,1933. He had been employed as a DeKalb policeman for 14 years and also had been employed by the American Steel Co. in DeKalb for 35 years.

He was a member of the First Congregational Church in DeKalb. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW serving four years and a veteran of WW II, serving two years in the U.S. Navy Seabees. He was a member of American Legion Post 66 in DeKalb where he served as a past commander.

He was a former member of the DeKalb Drum and Bugle Corps, he was a member of the Last Man's Club of DeKalb and a member of the DeKalb Eagle's Club for more than 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Elsie; twa sons, James A. Ebbesen of DeKalb, Joseph B. Ebbesen of DeKalb; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Alyce) Cook of Morrison, Mrs.

Donald (Faith) Cook of DeKalb; 18 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren two brothers, LeRoy Ebbesen of DeKalb, Ray Pollock of Cortland; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two daughters, one son, one granddaughter, his parents, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb, with the Rev. Donald Mayer officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Memory Gardens Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Anderson Funeral Home and Wednesday 9 a.m. to the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral Home. Mrt.

LaRelle L. Campbell PLANO- Mrs. LaRelle L. Campbell, 71, of Piano, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 1983 at Sandwich Community Hospital.

She was born July 31, 1912 in Maple Park, the daughter of Penn and Lillie Needham. She married Donald Campbell. She is survived by her husband, Donald; one son, Neil Highly of Oswego; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Lois) Kuchera of Geneva; IaDelle Kenyon of Belmont, Mrs. Francis (Norma) Reynolds of Maple Park and Mrs.

Kenneth (Nancy) Roof of Brownsville, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Lloyd Needham. Private funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Larson Funeral Home in Piano. Elder Richard Wildermuth will officiate.

Brady, 25, 926 Greenbrier, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol and disobeying a red light, police reported Saturday, after he was stopped near the intersection of Normal Road and Locinda.

Police said Brady was transported to police headquarters. Sycamore Burglary Tracy Crubaugh reported to police that someone took her diamond ring from her mobile home at 2519 Luarel Lane between 10 a.m. and 6:15 pjn. Saturday. The ring is valued at $1,000.

Police are investigating. Arrested Steven Duprey, 33, of Sycamore, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage following a 12:25 a jn. traffic stop today at DeKalb Avenue and Center Cross. He was taken to the DeKalb County jail, unable to post bond. Arrested Mario Hewlett, 25, of Elgin, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a 12:50 a.m.

Sunday accident on Illinois Route 23 near Fox Avenue. Hewlett's vehicle struck a car driven by Dan Mitchell of Sycamore.
